A couple of thoughts before you get into the control panel.
First check to see if the filler float switch is stuck. This is the round plastic thing that is in the bottom of the tub. Take out the bottom rack and it is in the front left corner. you should be able to remove it. I should travel up and down without sticking. This float stops the water when the tub is full.
It is possible that the underlying float switch is defective. This can be check by removing the lower panel, unplug or turn off power and check with VOM meter. If ok then:
Check to see if inlet hose is clogged. Disconnect hose from DW and turn water back on. If clean then check thee filter screen inside the valve where the hose connects. Last check if the valve is functioning. If all else fails the check the panel.

First: never attempt heating pure water in a microwave, that is dangerous.
Ensure the oven is not set to the minimum power, otherwise the heating will be minimal.
Try heating some food at maximum power for two or three minutes, if it does not heat, take it back to the shop.
About water in the microwave, see here:

You have a blown actuator. This is the device that creates the microwaves that cook the food. The cost of one of these will be as much as a new unit.

Sounds like an electronic problem on the timer circuit board.
SOURCE: water spilled down the stove top causing the oven
ater spilled (4-5 cups) on the stove top running down into the stove control panel face (where you view oven temp, timer, etc). No water ever dripped into the oven or oven window. The stove top still works but the oven, warming drawer, clock are all non responsive after three days. No buttons on the control panel work at all. What repair is needed?
