What does error code 0x02 mean on an Artistic Quilting Machine?

Make Model error code EF

Brand new??? Take it back immediately. Something is wrong with the machine that should be repaired under warranty.

You should contact the local Janome dealer. They would most likely be able to answer all of your questions.

There are several Janome Artistic Quilter SD models that are listed during a Google search. (I found clear links about the model16, 18 and 26.)

Check the owner's manual troubleshooting section. There should be some information on error codes.

Of you can search the internet by inputting the make, model, and "error code 16"

Usually only technicians can figure out what is causing the error code.
