SOURCE: Loose handles - GE monogram model # ZFSB25DMD SS

try removing the handle, that will expose the mounts for the handle. You should be able to tighten them after removing the handle.

SOURCE: leaking single lever kitchen tap

on most of the single handle faucets there is an erasure like button ( may have a hot and cold blue and red indicator or be silver ) usually located right under the faucet arm on the manifold chrome sleeve or back behind the arm or it could have a large ring nut over the doam of the lever take your hand and feel the area that covers the area where the spout arm swivels and feel for the button or take your fingers and fel the to of the lever doam

if you find the button just take a sharp screw driver( be sure to plug the drain holes and turn hot and cold water off under sink) pry the button off and use a hex wrench and loosten

if no button then there has to be a large nut on top you may seee two grooves oppsoite each other wheich would mean a special tool

use an adjustable wrench (put cloth ofer chrome to protect and turn counter clock wise( the ring nut will not be very thick

after removing you should be able to replace the cartridge

good luck

SOURCE: Amana AFI2538AEW bottom freezer door handle is loose?

My dad's freezer handle is loose, model ABB2224DEW. Went to partselect.com and located drawing of freezer door parts. Found a link to a "do-it-yourselfer" that describes removal and replacement of the handle. Hopefully this helps.

Replacement of freezer door handle.
1. Removed freezer door handle. First I read the freezer door handle removal instructions in the Amana refrigerator user guide. Removing the handle requires inserting a plastic card at least 1.5 inches under the left end of the right side of the handle so it releases the butterfly clip latch on the freezer door. Next I pulled the right side of the handle to lift it away from the freezer door. Then still holding the handle away from the door, at the spot that is 1.5 inches from the inside of the right side of the handle, I held the plastic card vertically and slid one corner of it between the handle and the freezer door and worked the card down until it released the butterfly clip latch. Keeping the card at the same space under the handle so the latch was released, I then turned the card to the left until it was horizontal and was lifting the left end of the right door handle away from the freezer door. I then slid the handle across the card to the left until it cleared both door butterfly clip latches and it lifted off the door.
2. Installed freezer door handle. First I read the freezer door handle installation instructions in the Amana refrigerator user guide. The handle is curved on one edge and must be installed the curved side down. Correctly installed, the outside ends of the handle curve upward and the handle curve is down so it looks like a frowning mouth. Next holding the handle curved edge down, I turned it up so I could see the brackets and held it against the door. I lined up the handle brackets slightly to the left of the butterfly clips on the freezer door. Next I turned the handle with the brackets against the freezer door and slid it slightly to the right until the left side of the handle held onto the door butterfly clip by itself but was not latched. Then I lined up the right handle bracket with the right freezer door butterfly clip and carefully slid the whole handle to the right until I heard the left butterfly clip latch click. Next I slid the handle back slightly left once more and then slid it back to the right until I heard the right butterfly clip latch click.

SOURCE: Handlebars loose

Construct shims from aluminum (soda / cola) cans with scissors. Be careful not to cut yourself, sheared aluminum is very sharp. After you have cut a wide strip of aluminum, wrap it around the handlebar and put it between the handlebar and the clamps. This will increase the diameter of the handlebar and allow your clips to exert more pressure on the handlebars making them tighter. Try not to leave any aluminum exposed after fixing it; it's sharp.

SOURCE: Door Handle Loose and tightening with allen wrench does NOT work ...

Just did this on mine today. Use an allen wrench to back off both the upper and lower set screws (Note: you do not need to back them all the way out). The handle will then easily pull away from the door. With a 1/4" socket, tighten the screws holding the upper and lower lugs on the door. Place the handle back on and tighten the upper and lower set screws.

How to tighten loose set screws on freezer door handle on ken more fridge with bottom mount freezer, model no. 269-76353019

I think that the handle is attached either to the door edge or the face. In either case the screws are usually hidden behind a small trim panel. This needs to be removed to expose the screws. I don't know what type of screws have been used. They're usually cross heads but occasionally they require an allen key to remove them.

We have a 3 month old fridge and the handle is coming away from the fridge. There is a bolt under the handle which suits a 4mm allen key, but it does not seem to do anything if you tighten or loosten it. ...

The bolt on the handle tightens on a pin that comes through the door. If the tightening the screw on the handle and it still does not tighten then the pin has come loose inside the door. If the unit is only 3 months old I suggest contacting who you bought it from. It should be under warranty.

How to tighten shower door handles

On my glass shower door handles, one inside and one outside there are button like screws hold the shower handles on. If you look closely you will see a small hole in the edge of the button. This hole is used to turn the button screw. This is not an Allen set screw, but rather how you turn the button screw. Insert a small Allen wrench into the side hole and rotate the button screw (not the wrench which acts as a tightening bar) clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen.

How do you tighten a loose handle of the fridge door? Sub zero 642

I have the Sub Zero 650. I am not sure if yours iworks same but what you do is use a 3/32 Allen wrench; as you push the handle into the screw on the door so that it is flush, you insert the Allen wrench in the hole at the bottom of the short vertical connector at top and tighten; repeat for upper or lower part of handle.

Loose freezer door handle

There is a "set screw" on the underside of the posts that connect the handle to the mounting posts on the face of the door of my Jenn-Air bottom freezer. Use an Allen wrench to loosen the set crew, which is very small (my Jenn-Air requires a 3/32" Allen wrench), and then tighten the bolt on the mounting post on the face of the freezer door. Position the handle over the post, then tighten the set screws with the Allen wrench. Cynthia

Door handle is loose

If my memory serves me correctly, you should see two posts attached to the refrigerator door right now. The handle slips over these posts and if you look closely there is a little hole in the handle where you would insert a allen key wrench to tighten the little screw against the post protruding from the door itself. With the door handle in your hand, properly match up the correct allen wrench to fit the allen screw very snug. Realign the door handle on the protrucing posts and tighten. Once finished, you should have a tight fitting door handle again. Let us know if we can help further.....Eric

Refrigerator door handle is loose

If allen screws are there then that is what holds handle in place. There are screws that the handle fits over, so remove handle and tighten as needed. Allen screws are very tiny.
