SOURCE: Hi, my Nakamichi TM1 clock radio (22 years old)
I have an old Nak TM-1 with the same problem....I have isolated ot to the MPC cable connecting the two units; specifically, just outside of the back of the main box. Seems like an intermittent 'short,' even though there is no actual motion of this cable over the years. It mpc's-into the remote unit, but is hard-wired to the base unit. Anyone know if I can order/locate a replacement cable?
