Can I find out the production date of my Peavey T-60 guitar by the serial # 01184865? I previously accidentally left out a 1 in the number. Need a manual and fixed bridge.

You could try Googleing it, if you havn't already. Another method I've used on other guitars was to carfully remove the neck from the rest of the guitar. Manufacturers often put the production year on a tag or even printed directly on the wood body under the interfacing part of the neck. Some risk= "what if I damage my guitar?"

SOURCE: Peavey signiture EX wiring

if the signature ex has any special plugs then the actuall diagram for that guitar is needed. but if it uses the standard two or three potential meter ( volume knobs and tone knobs or (pots) ) with a pick up selector and an input. then you can use any guitar wiring diagram and i think you can find that on web. wiring the pick up should be shown in the diagram with the pick up selector.

SOURCE: Peavey Rage 158 guitar amp

I don't believe there is a power "outlet" on this, only an "inlet".

Usually the inlet will have a lead, often green, that goes to the chassis.

There will usually be two other wires, often black and white that connect to the other two pins.

From the back of the connector, with the center pin tied to the grenn wire of the triangle lower, the pin to the right should be the white and the pin to the left is the black wire

SOURCE: peavey decade manual

Recommend an Ashdown or Fender with a 15" speaker, they will give a good sound, are gig-worthy, and will last. I use a Behringher 120W for rehearsal work, it only has a 12" speaker and thus cannot give a good 'presence', also I have been reliably informed, a lot of custom chips are used in thier amps.
Don't forget, a bass 'E' goes down to something like 60Hz, and a good speaker and amp are a must for bass work

Serial number on my Peavey guitar?

My guess is 1985. I think the T-60 was made from 1978 to 1988. I can't find your number in the Peavey finder so I jumped to the following chart where I just rather made up where in might fit. I'm not sure if even peavey can help. https://www.guitarsite.com/database/Guitars/rec/2986/wwwboard/messages/41.shtml

Is my peavey t-60 a real 80's guitar

T-60's were were the amp builders first guitar model and the first mass produced guitar to be CNC milled.
Production dates range from '77 to '87
I like the their thin necks, angular headstocks and body shape.
Hardware is just so-so.

http://www.guitarsite.com/database/Guitars/rec/2986/wwwboard/messages/41.shtml

check your serial number with the chart on the link to find the exact year of production.
