There is probably a drain tube that is plugged as the water should flow down to the tray under the fridge.

SOURCE: I have a Kelvinator 2

Hi,

he reasons the air is not moving is usually two reasons

  1. The fan or blower has failed.
  2. The coil is covered over with ice and blocks the air flow.

The first reason is pretty simple to fix, you simply replace the air circulator and things are good again.
The second reason can be more difficult.
1. The timing device that runs the defrost cycle of the refrigerator is defective.
2. The heater coil that melts the water is shorted or not working

Usually the first thing to check is the heater coil. If there is resistance through the coil then most likely it is still good.
The timing device can be an advanced defrost control board or a mechanical timing device.
If the heater coil checks out to be good then the problem should be the timer.

For most situations, unplugging the refrigerator and allowing it to defrost on it's own will get you going temporarily, till parts can be shipped to you. That will melt the ice and give you a few days or a couple of weeks till it ices up to the point where it will not work again.

So you can see here, the problem can usually be traced to one of three things.
  1. The fan or blower
  2. The timer device
  3. The electric heater coil
By methodically checking these parts you can isolate your problem and fix it.

SOURCE: Kelvinator impression series 500 fridge leaks

The other end of the drain is located in the back of the machine. Remove the cover in the back that covers the compressor, condensor fan motor etc, the drain pan is located back there, and the drain is usually somewhere near the fan motor so that the heat from the compressor can evaporate what water does drain. The best way to fix the problem is to unplug the machine and let it thaw for 24-48 hours. Its a pain but its the easiest and most thorough.

SOURCE: Why is my Kelvinator 400 twin air no frost fridge leaking water under veg compartment

Good morning Barbara, from what you are describing it sounds like the evaporator drain is clogged. You need to empty the freezer and remove any access panels to get to the drain. Get a bowl of hot water and a turkey baster, then use the baster to force the water into the drain to clear the blockage. Not real familiar with that model,so check under the vegetable compartment to see if the drain is under it first. Hope that helps.

Kelvin actor twin air no frost fridge pooling water under veggie compartmeny

Whats the model number? side by side or top freezer? most fridges have a drain in the bottom that drains into a pan under the fridge. This is where the ice goes that the no frost function makes to evaporate into your room. If the drain is plugged, it will pool up. Is the ice maker leaking? Do you live where the humidity is super high? Opening and closing the door alot will let warm moist air in. I doubt that is the problem though. More likely a plugged defrost drain

Kelvinator 330 impression series fridge leaks water internally and runs on to bottom shelf. I cannot see where it is dripping from, the drain rack is clear as is the cooling component. This is a regular...

The drip tray is blocked, open your door, about half way down at the back you can see the drip try, on the Right hand side there is a hole where the water drains, poke a plastic straw down there to clear.
