Lorex is not very responsive to customer service issues. Have you installed any firmware updates? You did not post the model number for any further information.
Might be too late... but it beeps if its not hooked up to internet. So to stop it from beeping either connect it to ethernet cable in back, or you can turn off beeping in menus- its i believe settings, event, network- then unclick the box thats there
Cameras can now be monitored remotely, even through the
Internet. However, there are times when monitoring a Lorex camera will
not work because of browser or software incompatibility. Check to see if
your system's software runs fine prior to use and get software updates
as necessary. Because continuous monitoring can be tiring, installation
of motion sensors helps make the monitoring process more efficient.
Internet Problems
Internet monitoring is now a very popular feature of
security systems where users can get surveillance camera footage from
their homes, business establishments or even while on vacation. Poor or
slow Internet service can lead to difficulty accessing data. When
monitoring surveillance cameras away from your home or business, be sure
you have a fast and reliable Internet connection.
You didn't include any specs on your computer but most of the time this is an issue that might be helped by maxing out the memory in your pc. However check your pc to see how much memory it has and then check the specs on your pc to see how much memory the BIOS will recognise, but keep in mind that sometimes if you're broadcasting video thru the internet you are at the mercy of the data stream on the net. Sometimes when traffic is heavy at some sites the video will lag and there is no solution.
oh
what mode is your camera in?
auto- adjust your Iso it is too bright or dark for your current setting
c1-(manual) change your f-stop and Iso. set the iso to 200 and move the F-stop to any number and test the speed.
c2-same as c1
If you need further clarification write back i'd love to help!
Use full auto mode or take out of Aperature priority, you may be shooting with a very small aperature setting and not know it. Also shutter priority can be set to a slow shutter speed.
