The most likely cause is that you have a bad temperature sensor. Some wine coolers will display the set temperature, not actual temperature so although you set it for 58°, the temperature inside is much colder. If the temperature sensor is bad, then it's likely sending a signal to the control board that says it like 99° so the wine cooler is always trying to cool down to 58°. If you have an independent thermometer, put it in the wine cooler and see what it reads.

FYI, bad temperature sensor are pretty common in wine coolers. It's a design flaw that most manufacturers are just recently correcting.

Can you tell me how to change the T-stat? I will open the back and look for the white connector (dual zone), and then look inside the unit for the sensor itself and see if it is obvious how to do this. But any experienced advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Bottles in candy wine cooler ccv 150bl are not cold enough even with thermostat is turned to cold is there any way to solve this

Check the condenser is clean, and the inside not iced up. Is there a fan inside? Check all is operating normally. When you say it is not cold enough, what temperature are you trying to reach? For keeping / storing wine, 8 to 10 c should be fine. For chilling before drinking, take the wine to a domestic fridge to get it to 4c

Viking Wine Cellar Temperature Near-Freezing

Viking wine coolers are made by Marvel. They all had issues with freezing the contents. If you replace the electronic cold control system it will be fine.If you don't, it will freeze the wine popping the corks and leaking in the unit.If you get the parts from Marvell they are much cheaper.

Can't change the cooler's temperature? the temperature reads LL and its very cold.

LL is an error code which means that it is too cold. Surprised that it didn't freeze something. Problem is likely the thermostat ($15 - RF-7350-55) or motor control board ($50 - RF-0668-04).

Thermal coupling in wine chiller

No, I would not recommend putting water into the chill chamber since if there is a "gap" hole in this compartment, the water could get inside the unit's electronics etc.. which could at the very least short the unit and at worst electrocute you as you take the bottle out/touch the unit. That's the problem with this or any other Peltier/thermoelelectric type of chiller. They are only good for maintaining an ALREADY cold bottle's temperature, not for chilling it rapidly. There is no good or inexpensive way to get better chilling from these types of units. It's the law of themodynamics and heat transfer. Water is the best/safest/most inexpensive medium to use, not chilled air or even super cold air. Cold air or even super cold air just does not match the chilling potential of a liquid like water. The reason why 50F air is no problem, for you to be out in for hours, but 50F water you'll get hypothermia in 20-30 mins.

The best unit for chilling a warm wine bottle is the cooper cooler. Go to www.coopercooler.com. It uses ice and water and sprays the ice cold water over the bottle while spinning it to chill it quickly. This unit is great since it can also chill single serve drinks like beer/soda etc so is more versatile than the other chillers. Cheapest is about $59 which is much less than the waring at ~$100
