Zenith video movie model no. Vm6300 need to know how to use it

I have a sony bravia TV(MODEL:KDL50R550A) I dont know How to reprogram my ZP505 ZENITH Universal 5in1 remote control to it.

Greetings - You need to have you DVD player hooked up to the video inputs - See below. Don't mind the mouse scratch out lines. The Device on the right represents your DVD player.




You then have to choose video as your source on the TV (not channel 3 or 4) using your remote - see below.

The Zenith player/recorder will be able to record to DVD from an external input such as a PVR. The most likely reasons you are unable to record successfully are:

1. The TV / DVR is not connected to the Zenith recorder correctly. You need a separate cable for recording. You cannot record using the cable that is connected for playback of DVD discs.
2. The TV / DVR does not have "VIDEO OUT" sockets
3. You have not selected the correct external input on the Zenith recorder

If you can let me know the brand and model number of your TV / DVR and how it is connected to the Zenith DVD recorder, I can let you know why it isn't working, how to make it work, and even draw you a setup diagram, if required. It's very difficult to give you the correct answer without these details.

You Zenith DVD recorder will record from the DVR - the real question is, can the DVR send video to the Zenith DVD recorder . . . ?

You can call Zenith customer service and tell them the model number of you DVD player and ask them if this is a know problem for the player. If not you can ask them what may be the problem with the player or the movie that the player cannot play the movie. The telephone number for the Zenith customer support is 1-800-243-0000. if you have remote press the tv button then video or av button this may work. i need to know the model to help you better

Whats the model number of your Zenith and I will try to locate a owners manual for you.

I am sorry, i have no solution. But i need the cable to plug it to the TV. Where did you get yours?

That problem might be on the remote of display settings on video display. There is one button that will turn that off. Try Display Settings
