SOURCE: Ice Maker not working

Start by cleaning the condenser with a brush and a shop vac. Then get some nickleguard ice machine cleaner and wash the units plate's down going by package directions, then retry before calling a tech. It may start working but if it does not then it may save you some money by having the unit clean before the tech gets there. Ice machines are not a DIY repair. Sowwy

SOURCE: GE model GSH25JFTACC ice maker not working

When an ice maker is producing ice poorly--when it produces just a few cubes or none, or when the cubes are too small--it's usually because of a clogged water line or a defective water inlet valve.

First, check the water line attached to the back of the refrigerator for good water flow. To do that, first turn off the water supply valve. Then remove the water line from the back of the refrigerator. Next, place the water line into a bucket and momentarily turn the water valve back on to test the flow. If the flow is poor, you need to repair, clean, or replace the tubing or the shut-off valve that supplies the water. If the flow is good, you may have to replace the water inlet valve.

Water valve is a dual valve. One for water, one for ice. Switch the wires to test.

SOURCE: Our ice maker is making 5-10 cubes per day. Ice

OK, Have a look (if you can) and see if one of the water jets might be broken, or if there might be a defect in the tray. I can't help any further i'm afraid.

My Samsung refrigerator Model RFG297HDRS-XAA has 15-E code flashing.

Existing error codes for Samsung fridges run from 1 up to 13, in the majority of models as far as I could find out.
You might be having two error codes instead of one code
error 1 and Error 5.
Error 1 refers to 1. Ice Maker Sensor:
Ice Maker sensor connector missing, contact failure, electric wire cut, short-circuit, Ice Maker sensor failure.
Indicates an error when the temperature sensed by Ice Maker sensor is higher than 150 or lower than -58.
Error 5 refers to 5. Ice Maker Function Error:
Ice ejector and level failed three times or more.

Top ice maker in Samsung RFG298AAPN does not make ice. No water cycles into icemaker. Icemaker has been reset, nothing after 2 days. Should I replace the icemaker or the water valve.

On these models I've noticed that the temperature in the ice maker area warms up due to a ball of ice forming inside the freezer compartment ice maker fan that has vent going to the ice maker. Until it is found whether or not that ball of ice is blocking the vent and fan you won't be able to go to the next step. The switch on the ice maker will test the ice maker by filling it with water and rotating the Forks that dump the ice into the ice bin Appliance 911 Sea Breeze

SAMSUNG MODEL RS2533SW/CUR ICEMAKER MAKING ICE BUT NOT DUMPING

This sometimes happens with my KitchenAid ice maker.
Usually there is a piece of ice stuck on the side where the sensor is that causes the ice to drop. I usually carefully chip away at any ice that is stuck. Once the stuck ice is removed, the ice maker works fine.

Model rs2534ww side-by-side Samsung frig. After power interuption to the home, interior lights work, but digital display is blank and compressor won't run. How do I fix this?

Regarding Samsung refrigerator model rs2534ww/xaa repair: Basic trouble-shooting from Fixya was helpful, but solution required service call from repairman. (Very few repairmen work on Samsung at this time.) We thought problem was the digital controller, but turned-out was ice maker (!). Repairman explained Samsung has wierd control design that is based upon ice maker sensor. Sensor alone cannot be replaced, required entire icer, which he had in the truck. Icer cost $105 retail ($86 online), but controller would have been $161 retail (couldn't find controller online). Hint: if control panel is "dead" except for (only) the upper (horizontal) LED segment of the right-most refrigerator temperature digit, the problem might be your ice-maker. If you find the ice maker online and can install it yourself, you can save at least $130.
