There is probably an object Some paper or mouse ( I have seen that one) coming into contact with the fan fins.

SOURCE: Whirlpool 20RB D4 Fridge Freezer clicking

Hi the reason for your noise coming from the fridge freezer is the plastic that is used in the design of your product is of a low quailty which reacts to the temp change and then as they get cold again they start to crack inside the frigde! Nothing to worrry about........
Hope this helps.....

SOURCE: whirlpool side by side, clicking noise, strange smell from bottom

The clicking is from your compressor relay on the side of the compressor it has eather went bad or a condenser fan motor is not running this will cause the walls to be warm if the fan is running in the back try cleaning the coils hope this helps

SOURCE: Thermador Freedom T361T70NNP - French Doors - Condensation

I have the same problem, and thermador stated there was a recall on the hinges. They are replacing the hinges to a newer stronger hinge that will pull the refrigerator doors in tighter. It took three different service companies to find the answer to this problem because I was told Thermador does not want anyone to know about this issue they have.

SOURCE: Frigidaire fridge door makes a loud popping sound

You need to take the door off the hinges and remove the lower hinge plate from the bottom of the door. This is where I found my popping problem. The black bushing with the 3 bumps and dips on it is loose in the plate going into the door. I took black eletrical tape and rapped it around the part that goes into the plate to tighten the bushing up so it wouldn't turn anymore. ( This was a temp fix to see if the popping would go away) 3 Weeks later and still working. If the sound comes back I will put some double sided sticky back foam on it. Both doors were doing this on my fridge, and now its as quite as a mouse. I hope this fix works for you.

I have a Maytag French Door Bottom Freezer / Refrigerator. Model MFI2568AEW. I changed the water filter today and 10 seconds after installing the new filter it started making a very loud noise like

Sounds like water hammer, has the water supply got it's own shut-off valve behind the fridge or in the basement ? Try shutting the valve then open it just a little. Perhaps the water supply was opened fully after installing the new filter.

Both freezer and fridge just stopped cooling. The lights come on when the doors are open and it sounds as if it's trying to run, but no cooling.

The problem can be temperature not set properly or any of fridge or freezer door not closed properly and cool air is getting leaked out. This are basic possibilities which first needs to be checked. But if this possibilities are checked ok and still the problem is same, then its weak compressor issue. Ice is melting and unit is buzzing for a couple of minutes then stops, then starts buzzing again. The refrigerator is approx. 5 yrs. old.

It sounds to me, unfortunately, the compressor is locked up. You could either have a tech change it out or replace the fridge.

Fridge motor is loud when doors closed stops when open-3.5 yrs old- first time same problem fixed with replacing sensor 2/08 now sensor broken again???

the fan goes off when door opened and when closes it will turn back on is normal operation of fan and door control --as to noise --fan may be failing ---iced over ----if seal failing will cause unit to run more and allows more moisture into evap which can cause more ice over
