wharfdale TVs are rebadged by Argos, so I am unsure of the actual manufacturer, and therefore the control signal scheme that they use.
It might help if you gave the model number of the particular TV, as they could be using several different manufacturers in their range of televisions.
it is unlikely there will be a single code that covers the whole range of Wharfdale Tvs
If you go to this site Charter net Charter Remote Controls 1060BC2 1060BC3 and put in Sharp as the TV type, it both gives you instructions on programming the Charter remote, and gives you the codes for Sharp TVs (10818, 10093, 10688, 10851, 11602, 12360 in this case)
