The unit requires 120 VAC 20 AMP

Standard electrical formula is volts x amps = watts

120 x 20 = 2400 Watts

It is pretty much a given in the U.S. that your standard voltage at a private home is going to be between 108 and 117 volts. Depending on many factors (distance from substation, number of homes serviced by one transformer etc).

Wattage for mc 1000b microwave

By the name I would think that it is a 1000 watt Microwave. Wattage as in cooking power is what you wanted? Running wattage, a 15 amp circuit will work fine. A 120 volt, 1000 watt microwave will use 13.4 amps (1,600 watts) of electricity in a full power cooking cycle. I think that covers everything! ..:)

Does a ATX power transformer makes the difference of watts of a power supply unit of a computer? Exactly I am planning to improve performance of my pc's ATX power supply unit. Trying to attach another...

NO NO NO... PC power supplies are switching supply's. The transformers use high voltage to drive other components. Increasing the power out of the supply will require you to upgrade the power supply to a higher wattage output.

I have ati hd 4850...and its overheating...im thingking about changung the power suplly..any advice what wattage can i use.. or you therse a problem between the board and the video card??..i have core i3...

If your graphics card is overheating, it isn't because you have a weak power supply. It is because it is working too hard. Clean the Fan/s and make sure there is a good supply of air circulating inside your case. The wattage you need from your power supply will depend on a lot of things, not just the graphics card. Processor, number of hard drives and no. of optical drives as well as any case lighting and extra fans you have fitted. But I would suggest at least a 600watt psu for a low end machine to 1000 watts or more for a cutting edge machine. Always buy a named brand of PSU such as Coolermaster, Akasa, OCZ or CIT these all have good reputations and are readily available. Buy the best you can afford- your supply will only provide as much power as you system needs, not all of it at once.

No power at all, np lights come on and well nothing!

No power and power LED does not light up, this indicates either the mains power is off or you have a faulty power lead. Test the mains socket and the mains power lead.
If these are OK then the fault most likely a faulty switch mode power supply. Remove the switch mode power supply and get it tested at your friendly computer repair shop OR borrow a power supply and insert it into your PC to see if it now boots up.
If it boots up the replace the power supply with a new switch mode power supply with the same total wattage or higher wattage.

I have a Verbatim ac320gb USB Hard Drive. i try to format it in windows and had it say exceeded the hub power and how i have 0 bits on it. i try to reformat it and say 289 gb but windows can not format it....

Each USB port passes a limited amount of wattage.
The "formatting" is a "high-wattage" operation.
Try connecting to a different desktop computer, hopefully with more wattage per USB port.

Note that 289 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 is equal to 320 * 1000 * 1000 * 1000

So, '289' (base-2) is equal to '320' (base-10).

Maytag MDB7100AWW Dishwasher how many minimum amps is needed

to find out the amps needed you need to take the wattage that is listed on the information tag on the door of the dishwasher. Take the wattage number and multiply that number by 1000. Take the figure and divide it by the a/c current used to run the dishwasher this total is the minimum amps need for the proper operation of the dishwasher.

Example 35 watts X 1000 = 35000 divided by power supplied say 120 volts 29.1 amps or 30 amps

Hope this helped

I have a Jenn Air over the stove microwave oven JMV8000ADW. How do I compare 1 through 10 power of my oven (1450 wattage)when looking through microwave cookbooks of lesser wattage? How do I compare their...

Power level 1 = 10%, 2 = 20%, 9 = 90%, etc.

So 1000/1450 ~ .69, so use power level 7.
