My bryant furnace fan will not turn on. Everything is sequencing, the induction fan starts and the flame lights, but the fan will not turn on. The capacitor reads 4.86 uf. Any suggestions?

Your fan delay relay is not functioning. On most furnace fan controls, there is a fan delay relay that delay the fan from turning on until it senses the temperature increase, typically around 130 degrees. once the relay senses the temperature increase it closes a contact inside the sensor and turns the blower on. It is the same device that keeps the fan running once the furnace turns off. Just take the Model number and serial number to your local dealer and get a fan delay relay and replace it.

Ubhb-21j11sfdai: what motor should be in this blower? HP, RPM, Voltage, Amp?

If you have the motor from the blower, the information should be on the motor nameplate. If there's no nameplate or information on the motor. Then to get the correct motor for your blower, you need to call your local Rudd dealer or local parts store. Give them the model number and serial number of the Rudd unit and they should be able to help you.

Rudd Achiever series model RQNJ-AO42JK 000 mfg

Turn the thermostat as low as it will go and have someone stand out side, they should here the condensor fan and compressor come on at the same time. They are two distinctive sounds so you should
be able to tell if the compressor is running.

If nothing happens and you are skilled with electrical
you can turn power off and remove the electrical
cover to the outside unit. Restore power and carefully
push in the contactor, if the fan and compressor
starts you have a thermostat or low voltage problem.

If just the outdoor fan runs on any attempt, more than likely you need a new capacitor.
