Hi, this may not be good news. I live in the UK and have a BBC sign in & use a VPN all the time on laptop, tablet and phone.
I can't use the Iplayer unless I switch off the VPN even if I have the VPN set to a UK town. It would seem that the BBC picks up on the VPN and blocks content...on the grounds of 'rights issues'. I know I know.... not prepared to say how I feel about this on a public forum. They need to get it sorted!!!

The region code is fixed by the manufacturer and you will not find help from them to change it. However there are ways of doing it, go to the web site below and look in the left hand panel for "multi-region"............. http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/reviews/ChannelReviews.asp

Find out if Australia uses a different standard of HD programming than Guernsey or not since it's not picking up any channels at all with an attenna. Does the skybox use only scart connections and that's how your small lcd is connected to it?

1.Switch on unit
2.Press- Setup on the remote
3.Select the Lock option from the on screen setup menu
4.Press 0 x 7 times on the remote keypad
5.A message appears stating the unit is now Code free on the screen
6.Press Enter on the remote.
7.Close Setup menu and switch unit off.
8.Switch on and enjoy Multi-region DVD playing on your LG RC199H (RC7000)
use a scart lead connected between your digital receiver to your tv

its an error in their servers. you wont b able to add any friends. the only things you can do are A) make a new account or B) buy a ps3, they are so much better and sony actually helps if you get any problems
