SOURCE: PLASMA DISPLAY STARTING UP. PLEASE WAIT

Un plug the power to the Plasma Screen and also to the Media Receiver for ten minutes. Disconnect the off the air antennas both A and B. After ten minutes plug in the plasma screen then the media receiver and turn on wi the remote control. You should now be back in operation. I was.
Also It may not be a bad digital tuner. The TV Guide feature is active even when the zip code is set to all 0s so if you have an over the air antenna attached the TV will look for the TV Guide info and if it can not find it because of a weak signal or the chanel it is tuned to does not carry that information the TV thinks that tuner does not work which triggers the 12 flashes. Also on power up the gray box with the waring message "Plasma Display Starting Up, Please Wait" appears and the screen is blank.

Hi, I have a LifeStyle DVD Home Entertainment ctr model # AV 48 Media. The speaker connections in the living room around the center are connected, and working ok. The problem is with the remote connection to other speakers in other rooms. I am using 240 voltage. Please advise how the connections should be.
Hoping to have your response soon,
John Luggya. [email protected]
Thanks

SOURCE: Dish Network "Blue" Smart Card upgrade... Now get only "015"

The solution is usually a simple one and that has been suggested already but I will ask you to try one thing first. Remove the new smartcard and do not put one in. If the receiver still displays a picture and yoou can get to menu 611 run a check switch. After this is performed cancel out of the screens and re insert the new smartcard. Once the system comes back up perform the same steps as you did before with the smart card removed. If this fails you can try the solution they offered which was to update the sofware. There is no reason your software should be outdated if you were using this receiver before the new smartcard but try anyway as it may SOMEHOW work. Using the remote turn the receiver itself off. Allow the receiver sometime to turn itself back on-this could take awhile so plan this when you leave for work or are going to be gone from the house for sometime so you do not get bored waiting for this to occur. If the receiver has not turned back on in 45 minutes or more then the receiver will either need replacing -which i suggest- or they will try to send you a new smartcard if you talk to Cust service. Tell them you want a service call to fix the receiver. While you have them on the phone verify your receiver number and the new smartcard number which is on the back of the card and ask them to send a hit to the receiver. If the receiver has not been associated with the new smartcard or if the smartcard was not loaded with all of your programmming this should fix the issue. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Try to Google the new part number. Also, the old part number can be replaced. Google it also and the repair center, Video Display Corp., comes up...with pricing. I would like the new part numbers for the green and red tubes also.

TCL tv keeps going to setup mode every time it is turned on. Had the tv for 2 years and it has only just started doing it

If your TCL TV is continuously going into setup mode every time it is turned on, it can be frustrating. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Power Cycle: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 1-2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This simple power cycle can sometimes help reset the TV's settings and resolve minor glitches.
2. Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset on your TCL TV. Keep in mind that this will erase all customized settings and return the TV to its original factory settings. To do this, navigate to the TV's settings menu (if possible) and look for an option to perform a factory reset. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on how to access the settings menu and perform the reset.
3. Check Remote Control: Ensure that there are no stuck buttons or issues with the remote control. Sometimes, a stuck button can cause the TV to enter setup mode. Remove the batteries from the remote control and try turning on the TV using the buttons on the TV itself. If the issue resolves, you may need to replace or repair the remote control.
4. Software Update: Check if there are any available software updates for your TCL TV. Visit the TCL support website and search for your TV model to see if there are any firmware updates available. Updating the TV's software can help fix bugs and improve overall performance.
5. Contact TCL Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact TCL customer support for further assistance. They can provide you with specific troubleshooting steps for your TV model or advise on potential hardware issues that may require professional repair.
When contacting customer support, provide them with the model number, a detailed description of the issue, and any troubleshooting steps you have already attempted. This information will help them assist you more effectively.

The menu on my TCL 43P615K 43 Smart 4K Ultra HD will not allow me to scroll. I have done factory reset, but no help

If you're unable to scroll through the menu on your TCL 43P615K 43 Smart 4K Ultra HD, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the remote: Make sure that the batteries in your remote are fresh and that you are pointing it directly at the TV. Also make sure that the remote is not malfunctioning or damaged.
  2. Check the settings: Go to the menu settings and make sure that the menu navigation options are set to "normal" and not "quick" or "simple" mode.
  3. Try a different input: Try switching the input on your TV to a different source, such as an HDMI or USB input, and then switch back to the original input. This can sometimes reset the menu navigation.
  4. Check for software updates: Go to the settings menu and check for software updates. If an update is available, install it and see if that resolves the issue.
  5. Check the TV's buttons: Try to navigate the menu using the buttons on the TV instead of the remote.
  6. Unplug the TV: Unplug the TV from the power source for a few minutes and then plug it back in. This can help reset the TV and resolve any glitches that may be causing the problem.
If you've tried all of these steps and you still cannot scroll through the menu, it's possible that there is a hardware issue with the TV. In this case, you may need to contact TCL support for further assistance.

Hello! I purchased this TV: TCL 55S517 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV (2018 Model) The screen is white, but I hear the TV. It seems like a software issue. How do I fix this? Thank you!

Software is proprietary and factory installed. Return it of claim warranty. Best you can try is to check brightness setting. It may be set to maximum by accident. If it is not then either send for repair or claim warranty.
