1 With your stereo headphones turned off, press and hold for four seconds. The blue and red LEDs blink alternately. 2 On your phone or MP3 player, selectINSIGNIA NS-CAHBTOE01 from the list of discovered devices, then enter the password 0000 (four zeros) (if required) to pair your headphones

Go to Accessory Settings on your PS3.Then go to mange bluetooth devices and hit register new device. while doing this take your headset and put it in discovery mode. You do this by holding the power button and the it alternates between blue and red lights. It should work after that.

To test it go to audio device settings and see if it shows up.

SOURCE: Can't pair bluetooth headphones with Insignia Pilot MP3 player

the directions from Samsung to pair the headset was way off. You need to hold down the main button then turn on the headset. Only then will the headset go into pairing mode by maintaining a solid blue light. It took me a couple of days of troubleshooting and experimenting to realize this pairing method. I just hope that this problem is only due to my headset because I assume a lot of people who buy this headset and try out Samsung's directions will become very frustrated. I almost returned the product and I am sure many others would too.

The Insignia headphones must be set to "pair".

With the headphones off, press and hold the power button on the headphones until the logo starts blinking red/blue. You are now in "pair mode". Have your Touch look for bluetooth devices and it should see it now.

Hope this helps!

I just bought a set on ebay but there was no software or instructions, how do i get them to work

I have this pair of head phones and I've connected them to my computer which uses vista. What I did was connect them to the computer through pairing. If you get a message asking for a pin, you just type 0000 for the code and you should get it installed just fine.

After this is done, you go to the microphone symbol in the bottom left toolbar and right click, and go to playback devices. From here you should should see a symbol that says "Speakers" and right underneath it should say "Bluetooth Audio device". Click this one, set to default and click ok. The sound from the computer should go to the headphones at this point.

As for getting the built-in microphone to work with the computer, I'm still working on that issue myself

Make sure the headphones are set as "default" under Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>Manage Audio Devices - same for microphone if you're using it for online speech.

I am trying to setup my bluetooth headphones and they did not come with instructions. I just need to know how to put them into discovery mode.

I bought one myself, I have a Vista OS, non-integrated bluetooth laptop.. I had to pop in the USB dongle for capabilities....Still cant get the Mic to work though...so if anyone knows anything on that....I went to HP live chat session too.

BUT HERES THE MODES YOU MAY NEED TO PUT IT IN...
Searchable/Discovery- Hold down the power button about 6-7 secs and it will sound a few short low beeps and flash between Red and Blue, then search 8)
Erase Pairing Profiles- Press and hold the Track forward/track backward Button together until it flashes purple.
Hardware reset- if headset is screwy, froze up, LED display is incorrect...Plug in headset, and hold down bothh Volume buttons, this will power it down and reset its state of confusion, lol
Passkey is always '0000' by default
2-short Hi beeps....Connected
2- short low beeps....pairing mode also
1 long Hi beep.....Power On/Off
1 long low beep....lost Connection

Hope that helps... merry christmas
