I had my Dell Mini 10 display settings set somewhere between 800x600 and 1024x768 which I just to access through the Intel Graphics Media Acclerator link in my Taskbar (I believe). I had to change it to 1024x768 to install a program and now cannot access the taskbar link to change it back as it has moved from Current Items to Past Items. Also, this middle setting is not available in the regular Display Settings option and I could only previously access it through the taskbar link. I can't figure out how to access the Intel Media Graphics Accelerator info... I do remember it used to pop up like a program with options to change displays/colors/etc. Thank you!
i don't have either of those options available. i am in classic view of control panel and there is not a video settings. and right clicking on the desktop, there is not an intel graphpics settings. i can get to properties, but i have explored the display settings of properties and have been unable to get back to my original display.i don't have either of those options available. i am in classic view of control panel and there is not a video settings. and right clicking on the desktop, there is not an intel graphpics settings. i can get to properties, but i have explored the display settings of properties and have been unable to get back to my original display.

Yes that could be horrid. Try setting the tv as your only screen. If you go to l settings Navigate to the "Start" menu, and click it once to open it. Select "Control Panel."
Click "Adjust Screen Resolution" under "Appearance and Personalization."
Click the drop-down arrow next to "Multiple Displays" in the window that opens. Select "Show Desktop Only On 2." Windows will disable the Mini 10 display and use the external monitor as the primary screen

If you have trouble getting a display on an external monitor, the issue can be resolved by making the proper settings in the Video Driver Control Panel applet, instead of the Windows Display Properties.
The issue occurs when the display settings for the external monitor are set higher in the NVidia Control Panel than the monitor could display. The settings overrode any Windows Display Properties setting. Similar issues have been seen with the Intel GMA Graphics Controller.
These issue occur docked or undocked with a variety of external displays, projectors and TVs.
So remember that the NVidia and Intel Control Panel settings override the Windows Display Settings.
Look for an application called "Intel Graphics Properties" or something similar. It should allow you to adjust your display settings, including contrast. There may or may not be an Intel graphics icon in your system tray that you can use.
What has probably happened is you accidentaly rotated your desktop for 90 degrees, and you'll need to revert to the previous default setting of zero degrees rotation. At the Desktop, right-click and select Properties from the popup menu. Then, go to the Settings tab, and click the Advanced button (it's in the lower right quadrant) and go to your graphics card and go to the graphics chip's settings tab (my Intel based graphics card's advanced tab is labeled as Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, if your PC has ATi it should be labeled ATI Settings or alike). Then look for a setting that allows for rotating the screen/desktop/image (the name of the option will depend on the model of your graphic card), and select a rotation setting of zero degrees.
You can download the VGA drivers(Integrated Intel® NM10 Express) from INTEL Download Center
*Note
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 (Intel® GMA 3150) and Integrated Intel® NM10 Express is using the same graphic drivers for OS Win7. (Same chipset)
I assume that you are using a TV with the Computer to watch a Blu-Ray disc using HDMI connection.
In order to play a Blu-ray Disc (BD) movie on a television, the display configuration must be set to display on the television only. Having the image set to display on the computer and the television at the same time will generate the above STOP error message "Your display environment does not support protected content playback message".
Follow this procedure to properly configure the settings needed to play a Blu-ray Disc (BD) movie on a television.
1. Connect the Computer to the TV using an HDMI cable.
2. On the Computer, click the Start -> Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Adjust screen resolution.
3. In the Display Settings window, click the Advanced Settings button -> Intel Graphics Media Accelerator tab -> Graphics Properties button.
4. In the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator window, under Operating Mode, click the down arrow and then click to select Single Display.
5. Under Primary Device click the down arrow and then click to select Digital Television, and then OK.
6. At the Confirm the Desktop Change prompt, click the OK.
7. In the Advanced Settings window, click the OK button.
8. In the Display Settings window, click the OK button.
9. In the Control Panel window, click Hardware and Sound.
10. In the Hardware and Sound window, under Sound, click Manage audio devices.
11.In the Sound window, click to select HDMI Device, and then click the Set Default button.
12. In the Sound window, click the OK button.
13. Now close the Control Panel window.
NOTE: Also check for any update for the software you are using to play the videos and update for the Video Driver
Odd problem. To solve, best bet is too reboot computer, press F2 to enter system settings. Go to visual performance and set a terminal networked computer default. May reset all other setting as well though.
