Sounds like a power wire and a communication wire crossed
SOURCE: My grandson crossed the battery charging cables
Simply check your fuses one of them will be blown ,under the seat or side cover.maybe encased in black box to protect from rain.
SOURCE: Hello, I have 7 no.
The cracking problem is probably high voltage arcing inside the monitor due to insulation breakdown or components breaking down or dust and moisture causing arcing. I suggest you dispose of these monitors, they could pose a fire risk. Instead of trying to repair them. Do not try to repair the monitors yourself, there are dangerous high voltages inside these crt monitors.
I suggest you put your money towards a LCD monitor, these are fairly cheap and very energy efficient.
