Supersonic tv- I can't turn off the narrator telling every move and everything that happens on the screen, how to turn off SAP

Go to the menu and disable the second audio program (SAP)

Use the remote control to select MENU, then find the second audio program (SAP) entry and disable it.

Its in the accessibility menu, it for people with failing eyesite.

I noticed a couple of TVs I owned had a button on the remote for subtitles, which if pressed twice would switch on the narrative.

Are you talking about CC? Never heard of the SAP coming over the set since that is sent from the cable or satellite provider as a separate audio feed.

Yo yo, checkidee check this out, before you wreck yourself, cuz big D's in your.... I have Comcast (they named themselves Xfinity without adding any value to the product). Anyways, I have a little stupid set top box from them, and a remote from Comcast. On the friggen bottom of the remote is a stupid little button called "LANG". I press it, and it says ENG or SPA on the bottom left of my TV screen. When it's showing SPA, the annoying narration happens. Sheesh, it annoyed the hell out of me for the longest time.

look for MTS or SAP button on remote or in tv menu depending on make--you have it set to SAP--change it to mono or stereo

Vizio TV's go to menu then settings select tuner then Digital MTS select 1/2 English. This should solve the problem.

You may have your SAP settings turned on in your VCR. Check your setup menu and turn SAP off SAP stands for Secondary Audio Program, it allows for bilingual sound if the station is transmitting a SAP signal. Thank you,
