Disks have a test area on them where the drive can test write to calibrate laser power for the disk. This power calibration error means that this test write has failed for some reason. The most likely causes are bad media, a dead or dying drive, or a bad power supply. Try different media. If it is getting that error on the same drive with different media, check out your power supply fast!!! If it is an oem computer, they tend to use a cheap power supply that is just good enough to run the computer. If your power supply fails, it can other things in the computer. Download something that can monitor voltage. As these are not always accurate but its a starting point. Perhaps try monitoring voltage while you try a burn. You can also try reducing power usage (unhook usb/firewire devices, unplug power to extra hard drives etc. If it is testing with bad voltages and/or if reducing the amount of power fixes it, stop using the computer and replace the power supply fast before you have more damage to your computer.

Hello. First day I use this device, and have found this tips for compass calibration (as I understand, compass calibration depend on satellite signals - so before compass calibration it's better to get good signals from satellites):
- keep device at horizontal plane (as from message "hold level");
- turn it slow, but not too very slow.
It's better don't turn device, but get device at hands, and turn around himself with it with constant slow speed, and keep horizontal level of device - by this way I have a more accurate calibration, than turn just in hands or on the table.
