True T23 seems to be running every 3 to 5 min. Its been doing that since we bought it. Wondering why.

try removing the C-MOS battery, you will need to take the laptop apart, the battery (s) are located at the front right and should be in a plastic either blue or yellow sleeve, they will look like watch batteries or if you have ever owned a laser pointer they will look like those, small round about 1/4' diameter and there should be 3 of them, disconnect the wire for about 30 min then reconnect and that should fix the issue

Yes you can, the manual says they borh using 2,5 inch ide HDD'

have you tryed update on the bios ?

i had the same problem with a toshiba lap top

and a bios update solved it
