The error means that the interval of the ROS (C) signals exceeds the specified value. The normal problem is a bad mcu board. Measure the value between PJ401 on the MCU board and and ground for +5vdc. The interval of the ROS SOS (Y) signals exceeds the specified value.

Procedure
+5VDC is measured between the MCU PWB P/J401-B20 (+) and ground (-)

Replace the MCU PWB (PL 13.1).
Check the wire between the SOS PWB (Y) P/J516-1 and the MCU PWB P/J401 for an open
circuit.
Check the wire between the LD Drive (Y) J529 and the MCU PWB P/J401 for an open circuit.
If no problems are found, replace the ROS Assembly (PL 3.1).
If the problem continues, replace the MCU PWB (PL 13.1).

That is a ROS ( laser ) fault.Either the ROS unit or the MCU ( main processor board) have failed.
Honestly, its a tossup as to which is the problem.

The ROS is the laser. Believe me you can replace the machine for less than the cost of a laser. The Polygon motor is most likely bad in the laser. I would guess in the $500 range for the laser
