Gendos is on track with his question. I have the same dishwasher and it doesn't get enough hot water to clean the dishes and runs for hours because the heating element wasn't designed to heat water, just maintain it. The only solution we have found is to run the hot water from the kitchen faucet before we start the dishwasher. The only long term solution is to install a circulation pump on your hot water line, or find a dishwasher that pre-heats the water.

SOURCE: hotpoint aquarius dwf30 dishwasher

you can plumb into hot but there are some snags
first hot water pressure is often a lot lower than cold so the machine may take a long time to fill
second if the water is too hot it will destroy the resin of the water softener and you will see brown marks on the crockery.
third it a bit uneconomical as you will use a lot of hot water

This "Inductive heating element"is in line with the pipe feeding the top spray arm. it is about 15cm long and has a clamp at each end with one electrical push on connecter. It can be reached by taking off the back bottom plate and just follow the spayarm down to this device.

Matsui mf160 dishwasher not heating the water

Hot water heatermag-glass_10x10.gif elements will need to be replaced when there is no hot water, apparently less hot water or the hot water is taking longer to recover after showers, laundry, dishwashing or other demands on hot water. It is not difficult to replace a hot water heater element. Consult the documentation so you can purchase the right element for your hot water heater. If you do not have the documentation, write down the make and model information and take that information with you to a supply store. The store clerk will help you find the right element for your hot water heater.
  1. Step 1 Turn off all power supply to the hot water heater. Turn off the cold water supply to the water heater. Attach a garden hose to the bottom spigot of the hot water heater and open the valve to drain the unit.
  2. Step 2 Hot water heatersmag-glass_10x10.gif typically have an upper and lower element. Open both control panels with a screwdriver. There will be insulation behind each panel. Fold the insulation out of the way; the elements and thermostats will be visible.
Disconnect the wires from the element and remove the element. If the element is installed with a mounting plate, remove the bolts with a socket wrench. If the element is not installed with a mounting plate, remove with an element wrench.
  3. Step 3 Clean the gaskets and the gasket area on the hot water heater tank. Install the new elements by inserting them into the hole. Be sure the gaskets are tightly in place. If the element is installed with a mounting plate, tighten opposite diagonal bolts so the element stays straight in the tank. If the element is installed with an element wrench, use the element wrench to install the new elements.
  4. Step 4 Reconnect the wires for each element. Close the drain valve. Open the cold water supply. Do not turn the power supply back on yet. The tank must be filled completely before turning the power supply back on to the hot water heater. Open a hot water valve; the hot water faucet on a tub is a good option. When all trapped air has escaped and the water is flowing freely from the spigot without air bubbles, the power supply can be turned back on to the hot water heater. After filling, inspect the area around the elements for any signs of leaking. If everything looks good, reposition the insulation and replace the control panel access covers

AEH Favorit 50730 dishwasher seems to work fine other than the water never gets hot. Is it easy to replace the heating element or whatever that could be faulty?

If this dishwasher is a residential dishwasher the water that is supplied to the unit is from the hot water side of the sink supply. The dishwasher does not heat the water it uses water from the water heater that is connected to the house. It sounds as if the dishwasher is hooked up to the cold water supply instead of the hot water supply. The heating element you see in the dishwasher is for drying purposes and not for heating water. I would check the hot water supply for your dishwasher to see if that could be the problem. Also remember unless you have a recirculating pump on the hot water there will be an amount of water in the pipe from the water heater and the dishwasher that has sat and cooled down over a period of time therefore when you turn on the dishwasher you will not get hot water immediately due to the distance the dishwasher is from the water heater. You will notice when you turn on the hot water to thew sink you do not get hot water right away you let it run for a minute before it gets hot since the dishwasher is connected to the same valve as your hot water to the sink it acts the same way.
Good luck on your repairs hope this helped.

Hot point dishwasher washing in cold, have replaced heating element no change . can you help

Check the thermostat and eventually replaced, if it is not the thermostat , then it is a defective cycler/timer control assembly.

If your dishwasher has also hot water power supply, try also increasing incoming hot water temperature.

You can find machine diagrams by entering model number here.
