Delongi Primadonna ecam26.455 displays PRESS ESC + OK - stuck

When the machine is powered up, display is working but just says PRESS ESC + OK. Pressing either button beeps, but pressing the second on - nothing. Machine is locked. Background All was OK till I operated the machine during a brown out low supply voltage. On switching it on, the motor ran, but clearly not a full power - it was much quieter than normal, then hit this error. Full power back, same error. I have taken all the covers off, and the infuser was in it's upper postion. I was hoping it was just jammed so turned the motor by hand to get the infuser down and out, but no change. It looks like the logic is still working, as if the tank or grounds container are out, it displays the correct message like Insert Tank etc. Nothing on Google for this message. Completely stuck. Help please!

Thanks, tried all the maintenance options including cleaning the rollers. What I have found worked very well was to bin the printer and purchase an HP model!

SOURCE: When I press the power button LG displaying chars for 1 second

Had the same problem, turned out it was due to a faulty capacitor on the inverter board, 680uF 25V (105 celsius rated). Simple to fix once you have the unit dismantled and the correct replacement part. Two screws hold the shroud on, but you need to be careful with an (old) credit card levering it off.

Unit is now working fine.

SOURCE: samsung sw51asp top loader washing machine

I had the same problem and from bit of research dE probably means door error. It turns out to be the reed (magnetic) switch was not functioning properly so wasn't closing the circuit when the door is closed.
DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE BASIC UNDERSTAND OF ELECTRICITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of you may really harm yourself.
To test if your problem is the reed switch then 1. Turn AC power OFF, unplug from wall 2. HAVE YOU TURNED THE POWER OFF? 3. Unscrew two visible screws on the back of the machine near the top 4. Take back lid off by pull up which will expose all the wires at the back 5. Put your head in the drum and look to the right under the edge you will see two wires (may be blue) connecting to a small rectangular grey unit (reed sw) 6. Follow the wires back to the back where all the wires are you will find there is a clip joiner - unplug it. 7. Use a multimeter (if you have one other wise skip to step 8) put the probes across the wires coming from the reed switch and you should find the circuit opens and closes as the washing machine lid is opened and closed. If it does not then pretty sure the reed switch is not working then follow step 8 to short it and test. 8. Another method is just to short the wires by jamming a wire across the connector that goes to the machine and NOT the connector to the reed switch This will bypass the reed switch detection so will always be a closed circuit. But since it still has a lever door open detection system it doesn't really matter.
Try a washing cycle to see if it has fixed the problem.
If you have the means then replace the broken reed switch by buying another one from your local shop.
If your problem with the dE error is not with the reed switch then it may be with the lever system which I have no experience with.

The taskbar disapeared

Press CTRL+ESC. If your Taskbar magically reappears, then it's probably simply been resized too small, repositioned somewhere you didn't expect it, or perhaps it's beneath another application that's running full-screen on your computer.

The workaround? Press CTRL+ESC to access the Taskbar.

If CTRL+ESC didn't make it come back, then the program that displays the task bar most likely isn't running.

That program is often called the "Windows Shell", but it's really "explorer.exe". It's the program that not only displays the Taskbar, but also responds to the CTRL+ESC sequence.

The workaround: press CTRL+ALT+DEL to fire up the Task Manager. Now on the File menu, select New Task (Run...). Type in "explorer" and press OK. That should restart explorer and re-display your Taskbar.

hope this helps

How do i reset a bios on my laptop

If your model is fairly new:
1. Turn on computer by Holding down power button while pressing the ESC key.
The machine will beep, then display:
Check System, then press [F1] key.
2. Release ESC key
3. Press F1 key
Otherwise press ESC quickly after it comes on, and then it will show somewhere "press XXX for setup" or similar

When you are in the BIOS, then there should be an entry somewhere that says "reset to system defaults" or "reset factory defaults" or "reset optimal" or similar. Do that, then reboot. Bios will be reset.
