Check if any error messages appear.
Message duration may be too brief to read, so you could try filming screen with a video camera or smart-phone, then play it back via a video editor.
Otherwise get somebody to check internally for dry solder joints / cracked board tracks / loose connectors.
As temperature varies, this can cause expansion and contraction, causing 'creeping' of connectors, or faults to open like a thermostat.
It could also be the protection circuitry activating if there is a fault such as overloading, short circuit, etc.

the order i normally use for the sound system (if thats what your asking) is run everything including the vcr to the tv then on the back there should be a red plug and a white plug labeled audio out then run that to the sound system any input on the sound system will work long as the colors match and its labeled input...hope this helps!.

You need a new mainboard

check to make sure that both are tuned to the same chanell.

That is a know problem with vizeo. You need to have the main board replaced. If you do not have a warrenty call vizeo with your model number and see if you can purchase a replacement board.
