There is a service reset "button" located on the input panel on the bottom of the projector. You need to use the remote, press the Menu button... on the menu that pops up on the screen, use the remote to scroll down to where it says "aspect ratio", and then select enter.
From that menu, you can select all the different aspect ratios that your Runco can perform.

You only want to reset if the projector doesn't turn on because it is a
safety feature so the lamp does not explode. They get really hot and need to be replaced when due. You can buy one from the supplier or online.
There is a reset button on the inside of the
RGB connection bay(look deep) for a reset button, hold it down until the lamp light turns blue.
If flipped over on it's back, you would see it straight down beyond the
connectors. Of course this will reset to factory settings.
