I have the same problem blinking orange 5 times and 1 green, please help
SOURCE: My TV won't turn on.
If this is a RCA Picture Tube Rear Projection, the Deflection Board will cause this problem. I do not know though if it is available.

Hi,
the first three flashes when the set is plugged in indicate whether or not the microprocessor has initialized. The sections involved are the microprocessor, the standby power supply, and the buttons, LED, etc.
The most common causes I have found are the standby power supply, the front panel assembly, and CRT fluid leakage. Are you comfortable working inside the set? This may or may not involve measuring live voltages with a multimeter
.
If yes, the first step a technician would take is to remove the speaker grill(s) and then the front cover at the bottom. A quick check of the front panel is to simply follow the wires from the bottom of the screen assembly until you reach in-line connectors. Disconnect these (squeeze clip on the side of connectors) and then plug in the set and try the remote pointed at the screen. If the set powers up, then the front panel assembly is bad.
Also, inside the front, view the PC boards for CRT fluid leakage. The fluid is (originally) clear and is slightly thicker than water. Any fluid whatsoever, even a drop, can cause damage to the PC board. The fluid will cause any dust in the set to discolor; this may make it easier to spot (please look very carefully).
The next step is to check the standby power supply accessed through the rear of the set. The main fuse is suspect (F9D00), although not likely if you are hearing a sound when the set is plugged in. Two other fuses to check are pico-fuses in the standby power supply (F9A01 and F9A06). These are located on the center (Power) PC board, near the center of the board, toward the rear. If either of these are bad, then there is likely another failure that caused it. Of course, if any fuse is changed, please use the same value only (I have the manual to look up the values if needed).
If all these are good, then the next step is voltage measurement of the standby power supply. I will pause here and wait to hear your results.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
