after u rotate the photo if you select the next photo in line , it should delay for a moment and say :updating: this it saving your rotation in its memory , or why not just rotate in in camera or computer , then save it to frame alllready rotated !!
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently fix the sideways photos while in the photo frame device. The only way to permanently fix them is to rotate them in your computer, and save them that way in the computer then re-upload the corrected pictures to the frame. Oh ya, you will have to delete the un-rotated pictures from the frame also.
Note: if the same name is used in both spots then the frame will take the newer one when it is overwritten on the upload to it therefore you will not have to go back and delete them manually!
Good Luck!

I amdisplaying images from my SD card. ... of photos coming from USB or SD will stillneed to be rotated if there is an exif ... Dec 28, 2009 - I have a few pictures that I already rotated correctly on my computer. Even so, they display incorrectly on the digital frame (buildings and people. ... When I bring the picture back to the picture frame, the rotation is still .... Just extra info - If I put the picture directly into Internal Memory .... Save as 24-bit Bitmap.
There are many ways. The easiest being use a external hard drive or thumb drive and simply copy the data to the drive. Plug the drive in the other computer and reverse the process.
Hi, I purchased this item for my niece for Christmas. I have the manual scanned into my computer but can't attach it. Please let me know how to get to you. In the meantime, the GPX customer spport # is: 1-888-999-4215/email:[email protected] :-) God bless
This is a low resolution camera - so either you have a good image with low framerate (as in Skype) or a bad image with high framerate (as in its own window).
Go into the camera settings from Skype and lower the resolution to the minimum - the framerate will pick up.
Not all frames can save rotated images. Try rotating a photo on the frame's built-in memory, not one on a memory card. If it still does not save, then this model does not save rotated images.
The way I put pictures on my GPX is very simple. Hook it up to your computer, and open up 2 different screens for MY COMPUTER. On one screen pull up your picture documents, and on the other screen pull up the driver containing your plug in device. Go to the Pictures folder on your pulg in device, and just simply drag your photos over to that file. The pictures will copy over to your MP3 player and will show up in your Directory File once you unplug it and look. Hope this helps someone.
