Samsung plasma 42 inch tv, sound ok, but black screen with thin horizontal coloured lines

could be a loose ribbon cable on a buffer board, or one of the buffer could be going bad

I have a 2 black lines. One goes horizontal and one runs vertical. Is this something I can fix?

Try to replace the YSCAN board. If not fix it, then it's the PDP Panel failure.
