I don't mean to over simplify this, but are you using fresh gas? Gas blowers and string trimmers are extremely ticky when it comes to gas. They like it SUPER fresh. Not just fresh from the can, but fresh from the pump! And while the gas and oil mixture should be right, it can be off a little bit and still run. Try draining all of the gas out, and then filling up with fresh mix. This is ALWAYS my first step with string trimmers and blowers, and it fixes the problem 75% of the time. Also make sure your spark plug is clean. If you are not sure, a new plug couldn't hurt.
Hope this helps!!

It's not easy.
It took me four hours to change the three plugs on the rear bank, but it can be done.
The way I did it, I put the aztec up on ramps, slid underneath and followed the spark plug wires down to the plugs. I ended up working mostly by feel instead of sight.
With a lot of patience, an assortment of extensions and a swivel joint, the plugs can be changed.
An extra elbow in your right arm, and a large assortment of four letter words would also be handy to have.
Good luck!

Compression Test the Cylinders. We had one doing the same thing. It was a warped valve on #4.
