Don't worry about it. You have mistakenly pressed Shift + exit. What you need to do is to press Shift + i. What you have done is used by the people using two decoder. They use it to switch between the two decoders.
SOURCE: dstv decoder dsd 1131 is just flicking when put on
In most cases if there was water and the set was put on before the traces were removed , it is quite possible that some sensitive component could be damaged. http://www.fixya.com/support/r6041626-when_device_falls_into_water_when
hence it is important to start from the beginning. Use a hair dryer to warm, use soldering iron to solder suspected joints and if you hear/see steam while the iron is used on the pins then it is for sure that water is lodged in the component base. You will need to do the work with caution till there are no traces. A slight short can result in flickering , if not there are failures in the board.

Hello,
The best that I can give you is at this link:
http://hopeafrica.tv/index.php/component/content/article/40-schedules/202-dstv .
It should be noted that Africa does not have digital tv so you should probably hook an antenna to the tv without the box and have the tv search for analog tv stations as that will stand the best chance of picking up what few channels they do have.
Good Luck!
