I recently bought JVC Wireless Headphones (model: HA-S20BT). I could charge the headphones one time after purchasing it. After the battery ran flat I tried to charge it by connecting it to a USB port as well as an adapter. None of these are working and the red charging light is not going on per the instructions.

Each brand has it's own peculiarities and you did not specify the brand. I would suggest turning off the headphones, resetting the transmitter (turn off and on again for separate devices) and then pressing and holding the 'on' switch for 15 seconds or so. You may see (in some models) a light start to blink blue then red and back. This should indicate that the receiver (headphone) is trying to find a transmitter to pair with. Hope this helps.

Hello, I believe I just figured out the solution to this problem. I was experiencing the same thing, and as I was just showing my friend the problem I noticed that the green light came on after I turned on the music on my computer.
So, after removing the headphones from the base, the green light will come on only if there is sound playing from the computer (It takes a few seconds to turn on). It seems like they should have mentioned this somewhere in the manual...

They need a minimum level of signal to switch on the transmitter.
Verify if it works on yet another system.
Make sure you have the right output on your Samsung.
Try to increase the output level of your Samsung...(up the volume, but it may be a fixed output..)

The following
procedure will re-establish the communication link between the
Headphones and the Wireless adapter, this is called "pairing". Before
you start please make sure both the headphones and the wireless
adapter are fully charged and turned off.
Note: The headphones and the wireless adapter come pre-paired from the factory.
1. Press and hold the power button on the headphones. See Figure 1.
Figure 1
2.
Continue to hold the button down until the LED starts flashing red/blue
in an alternating pattern. Release the button when the LED starts
flashing red/blue. See Figure 2.
Figure 2
3. Once the headphones LED is flashing red/blue, press and hold the power button on the wireless adapter. See Figure 3.
Figure 3
4.
Hold down the button until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an
alternating patter. The LED will blink blue, then turn off for a few
seconds then blink red/blue. Release the button when the LED starts
flashing red/blue. See Figure 4.
Figure 4
5.
Once both the headphones LED and the adapter LED is blinking red/blue,
press the volume up button once on the headphones. See Figure 5.
Figure 5
Once the headphones is paired with the adapter, the LED on the headphones will blink blue once every two seconds. See Figure 6.
Figure 6
When the adapter is paired the LED will be solid blue. See Figure 7.
Figure 7
The adapter
may continue to blink red/blue for a few seconds even after the
headphones LED starting blinking blue. This is normal; the adapter may
take a few additional seconds before the LED turn solid blue.
Once
the headphones and the adapter are paired, it is not necessary to pair
them again even if the batteries on both units are completely drained.
Additional
Note: Repeated pairing will not improve the sound quality or give the
headphones and the adapter a cleaner connection.

Hi there!
OK I know it is little late to response but if someone will google it,
might find the solution, they are still selling it though. I just got
my set as a xmas present so here is the way it works..
First plug the batteries into the headset, there is gonna be small
power in it, however you have to charge it. So connect the small
charging cable into the base unit and the headset and make sure the
switch on the head set is off. Green LED light will appear on the base unit. Let it charge for 16 hours. After is charged you can unplug the small charging cable.
OK now how it works.
The base unit needs to be always plugged-in to the electricity
supply. Connect the audio connector from the base to the e.g. TV, PC,
DVD player, mp3 player... After you plug-in the audio connector red LED light will automatically light on the base unit.
There is is two channels what you can use, that's in case if you have
two of the same wireless sets. So if on the base is set to # 1 the
headset needs to be also on # 1. Then if you have second headset choose
channel # 2 on the base and also on the headset # 2, so they are not
crossing each other.
Now press switch on button on the headset and red LED light will appear. There is nothing wrong with the red light. That's just the way it is..
OK that's it. Adjust the volume on the headset and you should be able to listen to the music.. :)
Hope it was helpful.

The NC250s come in a semi-rigid black case with a dual airline-plug adapter, a mini-to-RCA phono plug adapter and a 4' detachable headphone cord. JVC includes one AAA battery, which should last approximately 50 hours. A simple sliding switch on the right side turns the noise reduction on along with a small red LED. Learning how to add the battery to the headphones required that I study JVC's user manual. The process involves having to remove the earpiece covering to get to the battery compartment, which isn't at all obvious.
