SOURCE: jig saw model 7580 type 4, replacement for blade clamp

There is no model 7580 Jigsaw. The only model close to that I can see would be the 7588 Type 4. Unfortunately that part is unavailable for this model. You may want to contact your local Dewalt service center and see if there is a substitute for that part.

SOURCE: locking screw for blade on reciprocating saw

Virtually every manufacturer has a different size thread for the locking (set) screw on their saw. Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

I need directions on how to change the baldes on a reciprocating saw.

There are 2 types of clamps that hold the blade in that type of saw.

Since this one most likely has the type where the blade is held in place with a set screw and a "U" shaped piece of metal that holds the blade tight against the shaft. There should be a screw hole in the shaft of the saw. The blade rest next to the shaft and then the metal piece clamps the blade against the shaft. This is all held in place by a set screw that screws into the shaft. This screw uses a hex key to remove and tighten it.

If your tool doesn't have this style then it should have a twisting clamp. This will rotate and release the blade. Sometimes a pliers is needed to loosen the collar, but not to tight tho.

How do i intall a blade on a DW303 Reciprocating saw?

To install blade into saw:
1. Loosen set screw.
2. Insert blade shank from the front between the reciprocating shaft and the blade clamp.
Locate hole in blade over pin on reciprocating shaft.
3. Tighten set screw. If the blade should break off and the shank does not come out of the clamp,
be sure the set screw is loose and eject the shank with a nail or pointed object.
