I suspect a loose or damaged paper roller. It might need reseating. Make sure that all the rollers are intact and close all printer doors firmly

hi i installed succesfully samsung scx-4100 printer drivers in my loptop, ihave window xp home in laptop, when i am scaning my document it says the "unknown devise name".when i am printing the document it work very good with out giving any problem . can you please suggest how i can solve this proble. thanks faruk memon

My connection is via a parallel to parallel cable, and I am also having a similar problem. I'm reading that usb to usb cable is the only way it will properly function. good luck with it!

goto www.samsung.com and use the search box at the top right and type in the exact model, the x to substitute for numbers/letters isnt helpful so type the exact model in there and it should have a page to download the drivers
