The resolution on this was to check the surge protector the television was plugged into. Once we unplugged and plugged into another surge protector, the screen went back to normal and the appearance was great. We believe this was due to one of the resistors within the surge protector may have become faulty.

Good day.
Blinks in the indicator signifies malfunction particularly in the
horizontal and vertical sections. It is sometimes caused by loose
connections due to wear and tear.
If parts would be available, then there would be no such thing as
obsolete boards. You can request your technician to have the degree of
repair be evaluated first to determine if the expenses would justify
its existence.
Your respose is highly appreciated.

Arjun

Hi,the problem is from the fuse in the tv,it's blown and it's a means of in-built security against power fluctuations from damaging the unit,so the solution is to replace the fuse of the TV to restore your unit back to a normal working condition.
Be cool.

Hello,
power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
I hope that this will help to solve the problem....
