That is not advised, but still you can ise any password manager to save your passwords or use chrome to save your password and then use fill facility service by chrome.

if you can't log in due to maintenance it means you will need to wait until maintenance is completed.
What it means is that the facebook team is busy improving or fixing their service and this means that facebook is not accessible while they do this.
Just be patient and it will be working again soon ;)
