Kenmore Coldspot 106.589 fans stopped working after power outage and brief period on generator.

I have a Kenmore Coldspot 106.58902801. After a recent power outage, and a brief period on a generator, both compressor and evaporator fans stopped functioning. Compressor still hums and is warm/hot to touch, coils inside freezer still get cold and build up frost. No working fans though. Any Ideas?

SOURCE: Amana SxS fridge not cooling or freezing

You have a sealed system problem. There is either a small leak or a restriction somewhere in the tubing. This isn't something you could've caused so don't worry about that. Unfortunately this isn't something you can fix yourself either. You require a certified refrigeration technician to fix this problem.

SOURCE: Warm refrig and freezer

You probably need some refrigerant added. There probably is a leak in the system that caused the lack of refrigerant. Get the leak fixed and add refrigerant before you blow your compressor too. Or get a new fridge.

SOURCE: ice build up on coil inside freezer

it can be two things the refrgerator probably has a small refrigerant leak therefore it ices up, or the defrosting heater on the begining of the coil is faulty.

I believe that because defrost is done by the mother control board this is why this is happening the part of the board that controls defrost is malfunctioning and the only way to resolve the problem is to replace the mother board part number WR55X10656 You can find the replacement board at these places below. Kenmore coldspot 106.55602400 Stopped working and then started back

Make sure that the condensor coils under it are clean. Behind lower bottom grill. If their plugged up with lint and dust it'll cause all sorts of cooling problems.

That's where I'd start anyway.

Best to you.

Sharp lcd 60 nonstop flashing power light

Have you had any recent power outages? Try a different outlet of possible and see if the tv responds. If it doesn't try a hard reset.

The reset is at the back to the TV, so turn the back of the TV out.
2. Locate the Power plug at the back to the TV.
3. Then near the Power plug there should be a small hole, use a paper clip or a needle and push into that hole for a brief period.
4. Now start the TV and see if the settings has going back to the factory default.

Describe your Kenmore 53652 / 53654 / 53659 Side by Side Refrigerator Unit is not cooling. Stopped working after power outage

Kenmore Coldspot 106.53652300
I just fixed my neighbors fridge that suffered from a power surge. She explained that she smelt a burning smell in the kitchen and the next day the fridge and freezer were not cold. Of course she did not share the burnt smell part until after I discovered the starter relay and the capacitor were burnt on the compressor. She purchased the new starter kit and capacitor from a local supply company and while installing them I discovered the compressor fan was not running which also meant the compressor was not getting any power. I removed the screws that held the control panel on the fridge side (right side) and inspected the circuit board which I discovered a burnt trace on the board for the compressor control relay. I fixed the board by soldering a piece of solid core wire across it and it works great!
Make sure you shop around for your parts. The BIG local supplier here in Tulsa wanted $65 for the starter kit and $65 for the capacitor. We shopped around and found another supplier in Tulsa that sold them for $25 each and they were FSP parts!
