Testimonial: "Thank you. My husband tried it previously! He has checked the belt, motor an all seems ok. Thinks it may be the control panel PCB which is expensive for a 9yr old machine."

Yeah I never advise consumers to open electronics but it sounds like your husband has the right idea- Washers aren't too complicated to understand the workings of it and sounds like he is on tract- replacing the board is better is on eBay- buying that stuff new seem hardly worth the repair. Good luck and Thank you

SOURCE: stuck in wash cycle

check if heating by putting on as hot wash and feeling the door. if no heat, check continuity thro the heater - modern heaters have a non-resettable cut-out in them which can cause problems. no heat then no program advance

SOURCE: washing machine will not advance through the wash cycle

Hi, Your timer motor burnt out, or timer faulty, remove top back panel (back of timer) and check timer motor, if timer motor are built-in (electronic type) you'll have to replace timer, or if timer motor can be remove, replace it, check back of timer, (knob you turn to change cycles or programs) locate timer motor, you can check appliance store to purchase timer motor, or let mechanic check, surely it's your timer motor or timer, check let me know,

Washer Won't Rinse (Hotpoint)

Suggestion: Try cleaning your outlet filter. This needs periodic cleaning, according to your usage. Refer to user's manual re. the cleaning. When it is the rinse problem it usually is the filter block.
