SOURCE: I have Model WF-S6607?WF-S6607TC. Washing Machine.

This might be Lid cover open protection. There is a small magnet at the edge of the lid cover, housed in some sort of a catch.
If the plastic housing cracked, the magnet might have dropped into the washing drum. To overcome this, place a magnet on the position where the plastic catch will contact the washer when the lid is close.

SOURCE: ewd1477 model washer. Dial on

It sounds like the problem is in the water supply particularly the water inlet valve. Check to make sure the water pressure is sufficient and the water valves are working. Run the diagnostic test if necessary to determine the most recent fault detected.

Cancel the selected program then turn off the machine. Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 6 seconds then release and turn on the machine by turning the cycle selector knob to the Whites/Intensive cycle. Press and hold the Start/Pause button again for 6 seconds then release to enter diagnostic test. When the diagnostic test is done, switch the machine off, on, then off to exit the test.

Turn on the machine to any cycle then press and hold the Start/Pause button. Turn the knob one click and the display will show the most recent error codes. Post the code for further advise. Reset the machine by selecting the Wool cycle while holding the Start/Pause button.

How to reset a GE washing machine WPDH8900J1WW

I understand your frustration. It sounds like your GE washing machine is having some problems. Resetting the washer may help to fix the issue. Here are the steps on how to reset a GE washing machine WPDH8900J1WW: 1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet. 2. Wait for 2 minutes. 3. Plug the washer back in. 4. Turn on the washer. 5. Select a cycle and press the start button. If the washer still does not work, you can try resetting the drum motor. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet. 2. Wait for 1 minute. 3. Plug the washer back in. 4. Open and close the lid of the washer 6 times within 12 seconds. 5. Close the lid and press the start button. If the washer still does not work after resetting the drum motor, you may need to contact a qualified appliance repair technician. Here are some other things you can try before resetting the washer: * Make sure that the washer is properly leveled. * Check the water supply hoses for leaks. * Clean the lint trap. * Check the detergent dispenser for clogs. I hope this helps!

I have a Fisher Paykel 605 double DD. I have an F2 error message. There was a frozen rotor, likely from disuse over the winter. I replaced the rotor and it still stops and shows the F2 display. There

Not sure if you have fixed the F2 problem yet. The rotor cavity may look clean but sometimes there is a piece of bone or seed stuck inside the channel connecting rotor cavity with pump sump. Take the rotor out and the drain filter out. Take a rigid thin wire and run it inside the channel connecting the two.

Also get some white vinegar and with a tooth brush rub it inside the rotor cavity to ensure all dirt is removed. The rotor speed sensing is done by the hall sensor sitting underneath the cavity. It is not visible from top. The sensor could be reading incorrectly. IF still no luck then Run in diagnostic mode - (but make sure you do not try any other function than what is mentioned here otherwise you could damage dishwasher).

DishDrawer Diagnostics can
only be entered in Power Off mode, ie. When there is no display on the LCD or the
badge LED's are off. Diagnostics is entered by holding the
Keylock and Start/Pause buttons simultaneously for 5
seconds. Ensure that
Keylock is pushed first.
All LED's and LCD segments (except keylock) are illuminated. Press Power button and display shows HO in red background. Press Start/ Pause. You are now in hardware diagnostic mode. Open drawer so that you can see inside. Press Start/ Pause a few times until FU shows on display. At this point press Keylock and water should flow in. Press Keylock to turn inlet valve off after water is collected under the wash arm (don't cover wash arm). Press Start/ Pause again and P1 will display. Press Keylock to turn rotor motor on and water will swish around. Press Keylock to turn motor off within a few seconds otherwise flooding could occur. Next press Start/ Pause once so P2 displays. Press Keylock to run rotor again but this time it will pump out. Let it run until the water is pumped out. Press Keylock to stop pump. This should test the rotor in both forward and reverse direction.
PRESS POWER BUTTON ANYTIME TO EXIT DIAGNOSTIC

If the hardware test worked ok then turn mains power to dishwasher off and on and start normal wash cycle. If there is still an F2 problem then hall sensor is faulty and needs replacement. Not easy to do and best left to technicians. By the way each dishdrawer has separate controller - so one drawer could be working fine and the other not.

JUST MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION AND THE BRAVOS DRYER WONT WORK.POWER BUTTON WILL NOT POWER DOWN AND PAUSE START BUTTON WILL DO NOTHING.

Hi,
Double check the power source, you may need to reset the breaker. It would be rare that the dryer would fault internally during transit because a gas ignitor you be the loss and you do not have one. Check the power supply and confirm you have at least 220 volt to wall and dryer. Get back to me if you need more help.
Thanks

I have an Electrolux EWD1477. I have been away for four months and I'm having problems with it. I set to do the quickwash30 program and press start, you hear the clicks, it might put some water in then...

My EWD1477 was doing this a year ago and I fixed it. Then it started doing it again a month ago and I seem to have cleared it again.

Firstly, remove the drain hose from where it is inserted into a laundry sink hole to make sure it is not blocked or sealed in with sludge.

Secondly, make sure the machine is empty of water and clothes and then turn the machine to off with the Program Selector Dial. Then turn off the power at the socket and remove the power plug and leave for five minutes.

Step 1: put the plug back in and turn the power back on.

Step 2: turn the selector switch to the right (Whites/Intensive). The green light of the Start/Pause button should be flashing and the green lights on for Prewash/wash, Rinses and Spinning. Don't press any other buttons or change any other settings.

Step 3: press the Start/Pause button and wait for the machine to empty any excess water. Press it again immediately after you hear water flowing into the machine OR two audible clicks. The machine is now in pause mode with the green light of the Start/Pause button flashing. Only the green light on the Prewash/Wash button should be on. Leave it in pause mode for 30 minutes and then press the Start/Pause button to recommence the cycle.

Step 4: If the Start/Pause button begins flashing, water stops flowing into the machine and the three green lights mentioned above are back on, turn the Program Selector Dial back to off, wait 10 seconds, and repeat the process above.

Step 5: If when you then turn the Program Selector Dial to Whites/Intensive and hear the two audible clicks, immediately press the Start/Pause button to set the machine in pause mode. Wait 30 minutes. Then press the Start/Pause button to recommence the cycle.

Hopefully the cycle will run without a problem.

Control lock light will not go off.

Do you have any error codes?

Does water remain in the washer after the final spin?
If water remains in the washer after the final spin, then the door will not unlock. Drain/Spin or Spin Only to remove any remaining water from the washer. The door should unlock at the end of the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light on?
If the Add A Garment light is on, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed once. Pressing the Start button will restart the washer at the same point where it left off in the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light off?
If the Add A Garment light is off, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed twice. The door will not immediately unlock while the cycle is running due to a possible high-water level in the washer, high-water temperature, tumbling or spinning. It may take up to five minutes for the washer to stop spinning and draining before the door will unlock. You will hear the door click when it unlocks.
If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
  2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.
