It is BS ignore it, respond and the email address iv active and you will receive tons of BS. If the account is closed (Which is not happening) what is going to happen. respond enter your password credit card info and stick you head in the sand, so you don't see the wreck coming.

Strange question - but if you hit "reply" does it work? My daughter had the same problem with her cell phone when texting people. They never got the text, but if she hit "reply" it worked. I figured it out by typing in the actual phone number (in your case the e-mail address). Some how it worked, even though the persons name was already associated with the number. Now everything works fine! Not sure if it helps, but give it a try!

Most definitely a phish. Don't respond to it but do go to Yahoo's mail site and check your account there. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS IN EMAIL! You could end up anywhere. Delete all suspicious mail - do not click on the "unsubcribe" link. You're just telling them your email address is active and they aren't going to unsubscribe you from anything.

This is absolutely a fake mail / hacking. Please don't provide any information if anybody especially ask your password and alternative id etc. Ignore such mails to protect your details. (if this solution find helpful to you please rate it)
If Apple uses normal security procedures the fact that your old email account is inactive shouldn't matter to your login. Go ahead and login using the old email address and then change the email address. Apple will then send an email to your old email address to notify you that your email address has changed and that you should notify them if you did not request the change. You won't get that email, of course, but that doesn't matter because you DO want the change.
