Make sure your disc is clean, and not scratched too bad. The error is from the system unable to read the disc.

Well, console gaming is fine but Nintendo consoles are really strange in my opinion. I mean, why don't you just forget about it and switch to PC games? Gaming PC built won't cost you that much and games are rather cheap. By the way, you can always download Full Game PC for free if you don't want to spend money.

There is something wrong with your laser. You should be covered under warranty, send it in for exchange or repair. Here is the Nintendo Repair Center Help Line: 1-800-255-3700

SOURCE: Wii Problems

I called Nintendo. Our Wii was unable to be fixed by troubleshooting by phone. I'm having to send it back to them to repair or replace. They really were helpful and facilitated everything for me. My Wii was bought in 2006 and had no more warranty on it, however, they charged me $75 + $7.50 in shipping to send it back to them. If it can be repaired, they'll send it back to me fixed, however, if not, they'll send me a new one at no extra charge.

SOURCE: unable to read disk

If Wii gives unreadable disc, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide

SOURCE: none of the games work

This is a technical problem than only Nintendo could fix. Call them and they will either tell you how to fix it or they will ask you to send it in and they will fix it themselves. Also, you cannot upgrade the disk channel. It is hardly even considered a channel because all it does is start your game.

My Wii console will not play any discs. I tried wii sports, wii fit, wii dance for kids. The discs on screen rotate and then states unable to read the disc.

This may be a multi issue problem. Start with changing the wii position. If ur trying to run a disk horizontal, then chamge unit position to try it verticle. If that doesnt work u may have to do some machine surgery.

First, try a lens cleaner like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Lens-Cleaning-Kit-Nintendo/dp/B001GZT1UI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314141641&sr=8-1

if that doesn't work your only other option would be to contact nintendo for a repair.

You can get started with that here:

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

Your disk may be scratched or dirty, make sure it is inserted the correct way. try inserting another wii game and see if it can read that.

You can try to clean your disk using this guide, but if its scratched then it wont help.

Wii Sports Loading Problem

Make sure that the disk is clean. Any finger prints will prevent the disk from loading. Clean with a clean cotton cloth.
