So I have many of these TV where I work. Several have gone bad. Managed to recover 2 of them. However the 3rd one is giving me fits. When I initally plug in the TV I get a red Standby light but no power on. When I change the Power supply board that is working correctly with a known good working TV same symptoms. I then put in a replacement T-Conn board. With T Conn board # 2 the symptoms change. When I plug in the AC power, I get the stand by light turning on then turning off. With T conn board 2 connected I measure the power rails that connect the T Conn board to the power supply board I see all my voltage rails like I should 5v and 13v. When I connect T Conn board #1 all my rails sag to 0v. Some guidance would be helpful. No bulging Caps. and when test the CAPs on my ESR tester they are all good. I should also add, when I disconnect the cable that connects the T-Conn board to the PS board, the backlight LED strips all turn on so the LED strips and the voltages associated with those on the PS board appear to be fine. I would suggest that the fault lies downstream from the boards. If there was a surge and some transient voltage got sent to the screen I'd guess that you've got a short that you may never be able to find.
