Unplug it take out the battery. Then star over again.
I use the same computer. I guess it is a normal thing. it happens to me all the time. don't leave your computer on when you are not using it. turning it off also prolong the battery.
I also forgot to add. Make sure you have a scheduled scan for you virus protection software. Maybe every 3am daily. Never download anything unless you know what it is. There are just so many evil people out there who spread virus, and other malware. Another thing is that the plug from the adapter to the laptop have a tendency to wear out so try to minimize plugging, and unluging it. The wire can be damaged if you mishandle too often. In fact of all laptops I have worked with had problems with the power connectors. If be carefull with these parts you will have years of troublefree use.
