I had the same error code and I found this very effective. (Saved me 100$) although I got this baby at a thrift shop. ?? unplug for atleast an hour (I did overnight) run a vinegar/water solution through on cleaning cycle and then brew 3 pot fulls of water and viola perfectly fine and also a very clean machine. ??

SOURCE: Cuisinart DCC-2000 12-Cup Coffee Maker shuts off after brewing

Turn the function knob to Auto Off
Hold down the hour button til you see the clock display blinking
you can then use the Hour and Minute buttons to program how long you want the coffee maker to stay on.
You can choose from 0 minutes (seems to be what you have it set on now) to 4 hours.

SOURCE: Coffee maker shuts off too soon after brewing.

Hello FloydBob, The Cuisinart DCC-1200 has the ability to program the auto-off function that keeps your coffee warmer plate on after brewing is complete.

The unit lets you select the time increments from zero up to 4 hours.

See page 6 of the attached manual for the full instructions for reprogramming the coffee maker.

To program the Variable Auto Off:
1. Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to the “Auto Off”
position. Press and hold the “Hour” button
for 2 seconds. The clock display will start
blinking.
2. Program the coffeemaker to shut off from
zero to four hours after brew cycle is
finished by using the “Hour” and “Minute”
push-buttons.

I figured you might also like to have a complete instruction/owners manual so you can have access for any other questions you might have about your coffee maker, in the future.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

SOURCE: our coffee maker is only brewing half of the

Run a 1/2 pot of vinegar through it 2-3 times (I reuse it) and then run water 1-2 times to get the vinegar smell out. This cleans the mineral deposits from your water that are clogging it.

SOURCE: my kitchenaid coffee maker gives

This problem occurs between 6 months and 1 year of these coffee pots. I have contacted customer service each time this occurs and have received a new coffee pot. Unfortunately, I am calling them again and again because the new coffee pots do not even last their warranty time and the ERR2 light again comes on and ruins my morning. I would not recommend this coffee pot. It is expensive and life time is not long at all. Customer service has been great but how many times do you have to return a coffee pot for Kitchenaid to get the hint that it needs to be fixed. Most consumers will get angry, throw it away and never buy the same one again. So, wake up Kitchenaid and smell the COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fix this coffeepot. I am not the only one who has had this problem. Customer service @ 1-800-541-6390 Hope this helps. When they send you a new one they send you free shipping back for the old one and you use the box the new one came in.

If all the indicator lights are flashing after you've initialized your machine, reset it by turning it off and then on. If there's no disk in the brewing mechanism, all the indicator lights will flash.Sep 5, 2020

Light stays on as heating does not want to brew

1. the sensor circuit is defective.
2. the coffee maker needs to be serviced.
there is a circuit that shuts the unit off when brew is complete but the current of voltage sent to signal end of brewing cycle is not enabled therefore the light stay on.

Braun coffee maker starts brewing, then stops after a few seconds

ijustam1

I have the same machine, Braun KF180 12 Cup Coffee Maker. In normal operation the brew cycle is stopped when the water reservoir is empty. The only way the coffee maker knows if that is true is when the water-brewing heater gets too hot. Your brewing heater is probably encrusted with calcium deposits if you have been heavily using the coffee maker. Vinegar will work but it is weak and you will have to cycle this solution through many many times. You should instead use "Lime Away" or "CLR" and let it sit there in a brew cycle or multiple brew cycles for a while. NOTE: Remove the filter when cleaning this way and when the brew cycle is complete, rinse thoroughly -- your taste buds will let you know if the machine is not rinsed thoroughly. -- Good Luck!!

Braun Flavor Select will not brew coffee.

I assume You are talking about the water-brewing heater thereare two, the second is the heater that warms the coffee pot (I think!). When the water-heater is encrusted with calcium deposits it "thinks" that the water reservoir is emptyand ceases the brew cycle. water boils at 212 degF and the heater will go to a much higher temperature. I will leave you with the same solution as was posted to another problem that may have similar cause:
