I cleaned the feed rollers on my document feeder with alcohol and cotton swabs and its been working great ever since, Try that first if you can get to the rollers. I would not try it with the power on though unless tou are very careful
does the feeder try to fed the paper? if you hear not working and not fed the paper then clean with alcohol with hard paper the roller . if not fix did you hear noises? maybe the gears. hope i help
Step one: Remove any loose paper. Step two: Clear the jam from the back of the All-in-One Step three: Clear the paper jam from the front of the All-in-OneStep four: Clear the jam from the automatic document feeder Step five: Print a self-test report Thanks For Your Time,
There are possible 2 places for the paper jam, either the Feeder has jammed or from the input tray. For Feeder, you just have to open the feeder from the top and see if there are any pieces sticking in. Else, you can open the print head cover and look for pieces of paper jammed in it. Another place you may see is by removing the rear of the printer, it is called a duplexor which can be taken off easily. You may find some bits of pieces in rear of the printer. To avoid getting another jam, try to keep the paper in a cool and dry place. If the paper absorbs any humidity, it starts crumpling which results in paper jam. You can also try fanning the papers before putting in a bunch and use a recommended paper for the printer. Hope this helps. Cheers...
Hi,
When you put your paper in, check the side clamps are set correct, if there is a gap at one edge, your feeding will be all over the place.
Tuck up the clamps to clamp the paper, not too tight where you bend the paper, but tight enough to hold it correctly.
Regards
Richard
