I have a global 300 dishwasher and it stops after a few minutes after you start its cycle in prewash with the eco light flashing.

It fills up with water to the right level but never gets past the prewash cycle.Ive cleaned the small plastic container with the hose to the pressure switch but it still only gets to this point. If i restart it after it stops it pumps all the water out again and refills again and times out again stops and the eco light flashes. Can you help me.

I had this problem and discovered it was due to a leak. The float switch attached to the bottom panel was operating. Pull out the mains plug, tip the machine on it's side (water will escape so get a mop ready), remove the bottom panel, 3 screws front and back, disconnect the connector from the float switch. Tape the connecter up out of the way and stand your machine back up. Try running it now. If you have a leak somewhere then you will get a puddle under the machine. If no leak, then I would suspect the float switch itself.

I went looking for a float switch but I couldnt find one on my machine...i could see it on a exploded view diagram on a parts site but I cant see any float microswitch on mine or am i missing it as it is somewhere else ...is it right in the front as I can see provision for one in the plastic housing but there doesnt seem to be one...any ideas? Or does it use the pressure switch to get past this stage of the cycle when it fills up.

You need to reset the computer on the bottom. Had the same problem with mine. The Blinking led means the heating element is bad and will not operate.

SOURCE: Dishlex dishwasher global 300. Dishwasher

Some diswashers have a sump in the bottom with a float switch. If the water level overflows the float will activate the switch which will kill the machine and run the drain pump continuously.

Hi just read your posting. Now the reason these dishwashers flash ECO is because there is either water in the bottom tray or your drain pump is open circuit. Is the machine making a pumping noise when it is flashing the ECO light,or is it completely silent? Please reply on additional information and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.

Dishlex dishwasher global 300. Dishwasher continues to drain with ECO light flashing. Service manual says it is due to an incorrect fill level or fill line.

Some diswashers have a sump in the bottom with a float switch. If the water level overflows the float will activate the switch which will kill the machine and run the drain pump continuously.

Hi. I have a Dishlex global 300 series and it starts going through the cycle ok but after about 5 minutes it starts to fill up again and the eco light starts to flash and it won't stop filling up and...

The operating manual says under problem solver thatin such a situation it has an incorrect fill level or fill time and recommends then the need for a service agent.

Try holding the start and programme buttons down at the same time until the machine beeps. This will reset it in case it is just a computer problem.
