Just got a Thunder Tumbler. Put batteries in, turned on remote and car. When I press a button on the remote, the car lights flash but won't move. Do I need to return this or is there an easy fix?

The Wii must be searching for remotes before one will connect. If you are trying to connect controller #1 (meaning there are none connected) and it fails, there may be a problem with your Wii.
First, remove power from the Wii by unplugging it. Wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Once powered on and you see the health/safety information press and hold the red SYNC button on your Wii for 20 seconds.
Now press the Sync button on the controller and while the blue lights are flashing, press the Sync button on the Wii.
Hopefully, that will connect the controller! If it does not, you may need to contact Nintendo!

Im pretty sure all you need to do at this point is reprogram the remote. If you dont have the codes go to the RCA website. They normally loose the codes when the batteries die and you have to change them out and re-program it. hope this helps!
