How do I get the tuning light to work on a crossley cr66 Rochester radio

If the tuning light on your Crosley CR66 Rochester radio is not working, there are a few things you can check to try to fix the issue: Check the bulb: The tuning light may simply need a new bulb. You can try replacing the bulb to see if that fixes the problem. Check the manual for your radio to find out what type of bulb is needed and how to replace it. Check the wiring: If the bulb is not the issue, it may be a problem with the wiring. You can open up the radio and check the wiring connections to make sure everything is secure and in place. If there is a loose connection, you can try tightening it to see if that fixes the problem. Check the switch: It's possible that the tuning light switch is faulty. You can try cleaning the switch to remove any debris or dust that may be interfering with the connection. If cleaning the switch doesn't work, you may need to replace it. If you're not comfortable working on your radio yourself, you may want to take it to a professional to have it repaired.

I have no sound

Very difficult to speculate what it could be with the info provided. You may need to open it up to gain access to the circuitry inside, to do some component level inspection and testing.

How do I get my crosley wall phone to work on tone setting? it will only work on the pulse setting which is very slow.

The DTMF [Dual Tone Multi Frequency] tone dialing system operates on Direct Current [DC] and is DEPENDENT ON the PROPER POLARITY of the two phone conductor wires!!!!

IF the polarity is reversed, ONLY the PULSE DIALING WILL WORK!!!!!

USUALLY the Tip and Ring wires are colored Red and Green [I think -- it's been a lotta years!!!!!].

HOWEVER, color really doesn't matter as USUALLY ONLY TWO WIRES ARE CONNECTED TO THE PHONE SO REGARDLESS OF COLOR, JUST REVERSE those two wires.

Try reversing the two wires, and then switch the phone to tone dial and try it. That MAY solve the problem!

If that doesn't solve the problem then it's beyond me!!!!!

Good luck!!!!!

I have a crosley record player, the kind that can play CDs, iPods, tapes, and is a radio too. When I play records either no sound comes out of one side or just static. Both sides get static though. It's...

It's possible that the wires that connect the cartridge where the stylus fits are loose or broken off. With it set to the deck, have the amp on. Lift up the arm and touch the wire connections to the cartridge. You should hear a buzz on each of the channels depending on which wires you touch. You can also disconnect the wires from the cartridge and carry out the same test. On one wire it will buzz on the right, on the other on the left. The two other wires are earths and will cause only a slight buzz or nothing at all. This test proves the pre-amp inside the amp is working. If the wires are connected properly to the right connections on the cartridge, you should hear sound. If the connections are good and the sound poor or absent you need a new cartridge.

How do you fix a plug on a stack o matic turntable

I suspect this plug is the power connector. If you can't find a replacement plug, it would require the two wires to be connected inside the other unit.

It might be best to take it to a Crosley repair dealer.

Crosley Record Player Stopped Spinning...

I had this same problem with my Crosley 704 and it bamboozled me to no end.

After digging around I dug up the manual online (I bought mine used so I didn't have one to consult). It turns out the record stops when it gets to the end, and to get it spinning again you have to lift up the tone arm and move it right (past the holding latch) until it clicks, and voila, it starts spinning again, ready for a new record.

You'd think that they coulda made it more obvious :(

My Crosley dryer not drying

You will have to ensure the tub belt is not broken or off the motor pulley. Also, you may have a bad push to start switch or door closed switch. Open door and manual hold in door switch and have someone to push the start button if there is any sound or attempt to start these switchs are most likely good and your problem is with the belt. Hope this helps God Bless

Crosley Radio CR246 CD door will not open

Try checking these:

- the CD door motor rubber drive belt (if there is one), it could be either loosened or broken, if so, it needs to be replaced

- the door open/closed sensor switches (contacts), they could be oxydized or damaged, they are located somewhere under the CD tray, possibly at the front end of the unit (depends on brand and model), you need to clean these with some fine sandpaper

It could be something else like the door motor driver IC, the power supply for the motor, a bad capacitor in the motor drive section, a loose connection or a broken wire somewhere, but hopefully, it's just a bad rubber belt or a dirty contact.

Crosley traveler turntable noise

Hello attaboy. You may need to check you ac cord if the noise is in turntable, radio, & cassettte mod. If it has a 3 prong plug than you are missing a GND connection, in the cord or inside the unit. If it has a 2 prong plug than take it back or open it up and replace filter capacitors or bridge rectifiers in units power supply.
