Unplug it. turn OFF breaker and then take cover plate off of outlet and check for loose wires. if they are slightly loose tighten them up after making sure the wires are all seated tight reinstall the outlet back into box and reapply cover plate. then turn breaker back on. you can also save time by taking cover plate off then turn machine back on but watch outlet to see if you see a spark when breaker trips. If you do then you know you need to tighten wire on the nuts of outlet or replace outlet.

SOURCE: Dishwasher tripping the circuit breaker

Andy, leave the breaker off and remove the toe panel (bottom panel) from the dishwasher. Remove the cover of the junction box where the cord connection or wiring is made. Look at the wire caps and see if they are not burnt. Sometimes these connections become loose and arch, tripping the breaker. If so, cut the wires, strip a new end and reconnect. Catriver...post back.

SOURCE: York Air Handler trips main circuit breaker

almost has to be the electric heat strip coils. they usually come on in stages. when the damaged strip comes on it kicks breaker. turn off all power, check with a meter , gently remove strips and inspect for broken or shorted coils. usually best to buy a new heat strip module. they are usually held in place as a module with 4 screws and a snap together wire connector .good luck. i have had some success if the wires are broken and not to brittle by bending a minute loop in the end of each wire and reconnect with the tiniest screw and washer and nut you can find, i'm talking real tiny. about the size of a bb if you can find em , or you can remove the damaged strip wire entirely to get some heat from remaining.

SOURCE: Bosch WFL 1660 Front end

After disconnecting the mains open up behind, it could be a shock absorber (damper) which is broken.

Fisher and Paykel Top Loader washing machine model WA7060 suddenly won't turn on.

If you have already tried all the logical troubleshooting tips and the Fisher and Paykel Top Loader washing machine model WA7060 is still not turning on, there may be a few potential causes:
  1. Power supply issue: Check if the power outlet that the washing machine is connected to is working correctly. You can test the outlet with another appliance or device. If the outlet is not working, you may need to call an electrician to fix it.
  2. Control module or power board failure: If the power supply is not the issue, then there may be a problem with the control module or power board of the washing machine. In this case, it may need to be replaced or repaired by a qualified technician.
  3. Faulty power cord: The power cord may be damaged or faulty, causing the machine not to turn on. Check if the power cord is properly connected and if there are any signs of damage. If there are, replace the cord with a new one.
  4. Circuit breaker tripped: Check if the circuit breaker for the washing machine has tripped. If it has, reset the breaker and try turning the machine on again.
If you have already tried all these troubleshooting steps and the washing machine is still not turning on, it is best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the issue. They will have the tools and expertise to identify the root cause of the problem and recommend the best solution.

Why does my Brandt top loader washing machine WTC9670 keep on making fuse box trip?

The modern fusebox contains two types of breaker; the micro circuit breaker (mcb) that replaces the old fashioned fuse and the residual current device (rcd) and which one trips indicates the type of fault.
The mcb trips in response to an overloaded circuit or short circuit and the rcd trips when current leaks from the circuit to ground.

When a washing machine does this there is a strong possibility some water has found a way to mix with the electrics. The first task will be to examine the power cord and then to remove whatever covers can be removed for a close examination of the internals looking for evidence of water...

I have a Samsung WA13V9 top loader washing machine, The drum is not spinning, I have checked the belts and they were fine. I don't know what the problem is?

Do check the tension of the belts. The should be fairly tight, but not too much so. Also try to clean the pulley as there may be belt residue on the surface.

I have a Samsung WA13V9 top loader washing machine the water is not stopping when the cycle starts I have to turn the water inlet tap off for it to stop.

If the water keeps running all the time whether the machine is on or off, the water solenoid valve in the machine has failed. If it only fills when the machine is on, it is likely to be something with the water level control. The pressure hose could be blocked or disconnected or the pressure switch or water level sensor has failed. I'm not fully conversant with the Samsung but the same principals apply.

Samsung SW81ASP trips circuit breaker on SPIN cycle :(

Just had a samsung repair tech come out today to fix this issue. He said the issue is the breaker. They can not run on a D breaker. Need a GE or Seeman's breaker. That is what he said. I guess we'll see if that fixes the problem.

My washing machine trips the Earth Leakage circuit breaker. By overriding the earth leakage the machine runs well with no problem but I do know that this is dangerous and that I have created a hazardous...

Actually, dont be in a rush to replace the motor. Check the heating element. 90% of the time its that. Motor is very rarely the problem. Disconnect the 2 element terminals and let machine run for a reasonable time. If no tripping out takes place, it confirms the element is faulty.Im assuming you have the front loader. The top loaders have there own issues.
